An awesome experience
From the moment the boys (guide and driver) introduced themselves we knew we would have a great day. Both the guide and driver conversed freely with us and were both extremely knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this trip to other Aussies. Having just the 4 of us in the tour meant we got to see what we wanted and ask questions without waiting for an opportunity. The comfortable air conditioning in the car was also a huge benefit. A great day of knowledge building was had by all. It made us proud to say we are Aussie. Thanks

Moving WWI sights, all in a day from Paris
We had a nice time with Oksana and Ivan. It was really convenient to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Paris. We saw several important WWI sites and museums in the area of Arras, Vimy, etc. These sites are mainly British, Australian, and Canadian focused. It was a great selection of battlefield sites and museums. The museum in Albert was a surprise hit. The guide will drop you off for lunch (if you have any dietary restrictions, let them know ahead of time). The car was comfortable and a couple of bottled waters were included, which was great. Oksana and Ivan were both polite and professional. Some things to bear in mind. First, it's a lot of driving, about 2hrs each way and then some driving between sites. Second, to some extent you are being driven to sites where the tour is given by museum staff (e.g. Vimy trenches and tunnels tour) or where you go through the museum on your own (Albert museum, Monash museum). Oksana gave us some good background information at the bigger memorials like the Vimy and Thiepval monuments and showed us around those locations. Overall, it's a very long day (12 hours) but it's a great way to see some incredible WWI sites if you can only spare a day to do it.

Ivan was an excellent...
Ivan was an excellent driver. Oksana was also an excellent guide, she was very knowledgeable of all the war memorial sites and accompanied us every step. The Beaumont-Hamel site was of particular interest us because we are from Newfoundland. They were able to adjust the normal route schedule so that we could start at the Canadian and Newfoundland memorials first, allowing us plenty of time before moving to the other sites. They also went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s dietary requirements for lunch. All in all it was a truly memorable experience for us particularly because we were escorted by two very nice people. Thank you very much, Doug and Verda
