great evening with u.s. ghost adventures

Had an amazing experience with Martha! She was super passionate about St.Augustine, very kind, attentive, and had neat stories about the ghost/spirit history in town.

Martha Made St. Augustine’s Spirits Come Alive!

Martha from US Ghost Adventures’ Wraiths of the Watchtower Tour with Old City Ghosts was truly the highlight of our trip to St. Augustine. We had spent the day exploring the city, and Martha tied everything we had seen together through its history, hauntings, and fascinating stories. Her tour was informative, factual, and incredibly engaging. We felt it was the most important and memorable part of our entire trip. We were fortunate that the other family scheduled for the tour did not show up, so we had a private tour with Martha. That made the experience even more special. We visited so many haunted locations, heard the true history behind them, and used an EMF detector along the way. Seeing the detector respond at certain locations made the experience feel even more real and convinced us that we were not alone! My two daughters, both in their late teens, were completely immersed and never bored. They loved having genuine one-on-one conversations with Martha because she made everyone feel so comfortable. By the end of the evening, she honestly felt like one of our family members. We were already believers before this tour, but now we believe even more. I have already told friends visiting St. Augustine to book the Wraiths of the Watchtower Tour with Old City Ghosts and specifically request Martha. Without hesitation, I would tour with Martha again. She is knowledgeable, personable, passionate, and absolutely the best!

    Spooktacular

Tour guide Kaley was great! She was very informative and had personal ghost stories as an extra bonus. It was about 90 minutes and we toured some historical parts of the area that have haunted stories tied to them. The tour size is small so it makes it easy to ask all the questions you have along the way. Best for people curious about the history of St. Augustine and scary ghost stories.

    Can’t Miss Experience!

Kayleigh was an amazing tour guide! Her knowledge was great of the history and the ghost stories! Our family has been on other ghost tours and even my picky 9 yr olds agreed that this one was the best mixed with history and spooky!

The Best Tour We’ve Ever Taken!

We signed up for a tour on June 10, and Martha was our guide. The tour ended up being just the three of us, plus Martha, which made for an incredible experience! Martha took the time to thoroughly explain the history of St. Augustine while showing us different parts of the city. Although the tour included plenty of fascinating ghost stories, she also shared a wealth of historical information that made the experience both entertaining and educational. What stood out most was how attentive and engaging Martha was with my 12-year-old daughter, who has a strong interest in both the supernatural and history. Martha took the time to listen to her questions and interests and even left her with some inspiring words at the end of the tour. We’ve been on several tours over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best one we’ve experienced. Thank you so much, Martha, for making our visit to St. Augustine so memorable!

Response from the operator: We can't thank you enough for this incredible review, Christina! Knowing this was the best tour you've experienced is truly one of the highest compliments we could receive. Martha has a wonderful gift for making history come alive while creating meaningful connections with her guests, and we're especially touched to hear how much your daughter enjoyed the experience. Thank you for choosing to spend part of your St. Augustine visit with us, and we hope your family returns for another adventure soon!

Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.

How much does Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.

Is Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 89 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wraiths of the Watchtower: Sinister St. Augustine Ghost Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in St Augustine?

    +

St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit St Augustine?

    +

February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in St Augustine?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
