a really fascinating 2 hours
My husband & I went on this tour on our honeymoon. I am a bit of a history nerd, and made him go on it with me; but we both absolutely loved it. Our guide Barbara was the absolute best. She was super knowledgeable. We loved that she also told us so much of Florence's history in general (seeing where the Mona Lisa lived!!) It was a really well spent 2 hours and we loved learning so much about the history of Florence.

Double-check your meeting point!!!!!!
Our meeting point in the app was incorrect, which resulted in us missing part of the tour. Our guide was AMAZING and did his best to make up for it, but the actual tour company’s response was really, really disappointing. I will not book with them again.

WWII overview and more
So much history in Florence! The ancient, the beautiful and priceless, and the tragic. We wanted to learn about the period of WWII. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and eventually agreeable to divert the walking tour to an outdoor cafe on a too-warm May evening. A lovely first evening in Florence.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're happy to hear your guide could adapt the tour to your needs and create such a memorable start to your stay in Florence 🌇🇮🇹💬

Fantastic!
Francesco was very knowledgeable and had many interesting stories about the war history and art preservation. He brought old photographs to illustrate his points. He obviously loves history and sharing the history of this beautiful city with others!
Response from the operator: Dear Sandra, Thank you for your positive feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our tour and had a great experience with our guide. We hope that you will use our services again in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back on another tour! Best regards. Rosotravel Team

Context & Perspective
Great tour! Nice context and perspective on Italy, and of course Florence, during World War II and the 20th Century, but also flexible to make sure we did not miss any points of interests along the way. A nice balance to our art and art history tours during our visit.

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
