What you get

    About this experience

Explore the best countryside surrounding Florence and Tuscany on an E-bike, in just 2.5 hours and about 7 miles distance. Experience a peaceful small group (max 10 guests) guided e-bike ride from the central but authentic Oltrarno area of Florence to venture into the Tuscan Hills with a stop to savour extra virgin olive oil with fresh homemade bread at a countryside venue that is also an olive oil producer. NOTE: On Mondays, the venue is closed, so we will have a high-quality artisan Florentine gelato OR a traditional Italian breakfast at an artisan pastry shop instead! (depends on the opening of the shops) We will take a look at their olive orchard and learn about natural olive oil harvest and production. You will have the chance to see the most hidden corners of the Florentine hills and Tuscany: so much greenery, olive groves, and tiny roads passing by San Miniato al Monte hillside Church, the best and least touristy viewpoint over Florence.

Leo was awesome! Definitely worth doing this tour.

Leo was an awesome guide for our family! We did this tour with three teens, and all of them loved it. Was a nice change of scenery from all the museums and the hustle and bustle of the town, gorgeous scenery, and learned a lot!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re especially happy to know that the whole family, teenagers included, enjoyed getting away from the busy city and discovering a different side of Florence. Leo will be delighted to read your kind words. We hope the experience remains a special memory from your time in Tuscany! The WLT Team

    Can’t miss experience

Excellent experience with lots to learn. Sasha was fantastic!! His anecdotal information and personal history of the area was fun and interactive, unlike in museums. He was very patient and helpful with the non-bikers in the group. Amazing to get outside of the city and see the beauty that is Tuscany. 10/10 tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We love showing our guests a more personal and engaging side of Florence and Tuscany, beyond the usual sightseeing experience. Sasha will be delighted to hear your kind words. Thank you for the 10/10, and we hope to welcome you back for another Tuscan adventure! The WLT team

    Loved the e-bike...

Loved the e-bike experience; getting out of the city and into the country side. Would have enjoyed hearing more about the olive oil farm, processing, and invitation to purchase something if desired.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're so pleased you chose to spend part of your time exploring the Tuscan countryside with us. We also appreciate your suggestion about the olive oil experience—it’s valuable feedback, and we'll certainly keep it in mind as we continue to improve the tour. We hope to welcome you back to Tuscany again soon!

Fun get away from the city

Loved getting out of the city and into the hills. The guide was great. Bikes were great. Super nice to not have to figure out where you are going and just follow the leader. My kids loved it too.

It’s great to hear the bikes, the guide, and simply being able to relax and follow the route made the experience so enjoyable. We hope to welcome you all back for another ride in Tuscany! 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 75 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2.5-Hour Florence Hills E-Bike Tour with Tuscan Olive Oil Tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
