Learnt a new skill which now I use in my art.
I really enjoyed my day course on block printing. I would recommend for anyone that enjoys art and the use of colour. Experiencing such a traditional Indian art was fabulous. Made me really appreciate Indian block printing on fabric.

Lovely workshop
I asked to join a workshop block printing. Since there was no group on the day I visited Bangalore, Padmashree was so kind to organize a private workshop for me without extra costs. It was fantastic😍 Loved it from the beginning to the end. Padmashree is very knowledgeable and an enthousiast teacher. I highly recommend to visit her workshop. Easy to reach as well, as it is next to a metro station. If I were not so far, I would go once more. Thank you for a great day and warm memories❤️❤️

A Wonderful Introduction to the Art of Block Printing
A Wonderful Introduction to the Art of Block Printing I had an absolutely brilliant experience at my block printing class! It was the perfect introduction to this beautiful craft — I honestly could have stayed all day. Padmashree is an excellent teacher, combining deep knowledge of the history and techniques of block printing with patient, hands-on guidance at every stage. The whole experience was wonderfully calming; once you start printing, your mind becomes completely absorbed in the patterns and colours. It’s both creative and meditative. I’m already looking forward to my next lesson and can’t wait to try Padmashree’s eco-printing class on my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone curious about traditional crafts or simply looking for a peaceful, creative experience!

A joyful couple of hours getting creative
We're so glad we found Rangmudra while we were sightseeing in Bangalore. It really was a highlight of our time in the city. Padmashree was such a welcoming host, and we immediately felt very easy in her company as she explained all about the process of block printing. We were soon getting creative, choosing blocks and creating designs. It was such fun, and we came away with some treasured items that we created during the session. Thanks also to Padma's son and her two staff who were all so helpful and friendly.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangalore.
How much does Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes cost?
+
Prices start at $2500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangalore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangalore is not rushed.
Is Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangalore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangalore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangalore and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wooden Block Printing Workshop - 90 Minutes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangalore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangalore?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangalore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Old to New Bangalore Day Tour: Lalbagh, Temple, Market & Palace, Bangalore city tour with English guide & multi language support, Best of Mysore, UNESCO Somnathpur Temple & Srirangapatna Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangalore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangalore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
