Perfect place to spend an afternoon
The wine was fabulous. Our sommelier Sandu was very knowledgeable, friendly and shared a lot of information with us. The accompaniments of meat, cheeses and jam were the perfect pairing. The atmosphere was very inviting and everyone very welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Another side of Tuscany worth seeing
We enjoyed the tour and getting to know more about the region. It is a long day, but worth the time it takes to get to these beautiful cities to see another side of Tuscany. The wine tasting was fun and we also enjoyed having time to explore on our own.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. However, we believe this review may have been posted on the wrong page, as our wine tasting takes place in Como, Lombardy, and does not include a tour of Tuscan cities or Tuscan wines. We kindly invite you to check your booking and leave the review for the correct experience. We would nevertheless be delighted to welcome you to our wine tasting in Como in the future! Thank you!

Lake Como Wine tasting off the beaten path
Give yourself some time to get there, and find the off path store. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a cute little bistro style wine shop. Definitely had a local vibe with the normal clientele visiting while we were tasting. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and generous with the pours. We had the cheese and meat plates with the tasting. The peppered beef paired phenomenally with the heaviest of vino tinto. The price point for bottles was not horrible and they offered shipping outside of Italy. A couple did not arrive so we had a little more wine to the four of us - yum ;). The high speed train failed us on the return, but the local train worked. Do not get suckered into a 130 Euro Uber.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the relaxed local atmosphere, the wine selection, and the food pairings, especially the beef pairing with the red wine. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and we’re glad the experience felt authentic and enjoyable. Thank you as well for mentioning our bottle selection and international shipping service. We hope to welcome you back again on your next visit to Como, hopefully with a smoother train journey next time! 😊 Capitan Drake Team

Excellent wine tasting
Awesome wine experience with a few extra tasting, some good cheeses and a nice sommelier to describe things for us. Would definitely do again
Response from the operator: So happy to hear you enjoyed the experience! The extra tastings are always a fun part of the afternoon, and I’m glad you appreciated the wines, cheeses and the stories behind each selection. It was a pleasure having you with us, and maybe next time we’ll find a few more surprises to taste!

Why this scores 81
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como cost?
+
Prices start at $78 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 222 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como?
+
Around 78 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine Tasting with Sommelier and Local Food at Lake Como start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
