Do not book! Unreliable!

What kind of operation is this! We booked for a 9 hour private wine tour and they never showed up! I contacted them after 10 minutes of waiting for pick up at hotel - and whoever answered the phone said let me check what’s going on. All I heard was a few people arguing back and forth. They didn’t know the tour was booked and they weren’t coming! Epic fail viator and compnay! If you’re travelling on limited time you should be able to count on a tour you booked to be operating after receiving confirmation!

Response from the operator: We apologize for the inconvenience caused it was technical issue that wy didn't get chances to see the booking is was sort notifications we really prepare the tours before 48 hours we andestand things happen for a first time we really appreciate for your cooperation whit us people lean from the mistakes thanks

The best wine tasting experience in the Cape

I went back to Cape Town for a short vacation and felt like a tourist in a city I grew up in. I was able to see and visit picturesque landscapes such as Table mountain and Robben Island; I was also able to go wine tasting in Stellenbosh, to name a few. Cyrille Ntoto is a very insightful and resourceful tour guide. I highly recommend Cyrille Ntoto to all tourists who would like to experince the beauty and history of the Cape to the fullest.

Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience! We're so pleased to hear that your return to Cape Town felt fresh and exciting, and that you were able to explore its beauty through new eyes. We're especially glad that Cyrille made your trip memorable. Your recommendation means a great deal, and we look forward to welcoming you or your loved ones again soon. Best regards, CM Travel and Tours

Exceptional Guide and Tour

Whenever I travel to South Africa, I only use Cyril Ntoto, CM Travel and Tours, for all local transfers, and transportation for all tours. My last trip was for 2 weeks. Cyril is sure to give you first class experience with his broad knowledge of the culture, his desire to go above and beyond the "regular tour," and his genuine love for people. He is on time, and is such an incredible guide. He is able to help us understand the nuances of the culture, and the history of South Africa. Our trip to Stellenbosch was even more memorable because he recommended some wineries we had not heard of, and they turned out to be GREAT!! I have recommended him to everyone including my friends, and those I meet on social media who are traveling to South Africa. All of them have the same reaction - Cyril Ntoto, CM Travel and Tours. is exceptional!

Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town cost?

+

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wine Tasting Tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from Cape Town start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
