Be ready for many tastings and varieties Wonderful and informative guide with staff at each location very knowledgeable

Response from the operator: Wine in the glass, and a day filled with stories, flavours and discovery... The Winelands have a way of slowing time down - with tastings, beautiful views and the local tales that bring the region to life. We’re so happy to hear that our guide and the knowledgeable teams at each stop added extra magic to your Cape Winelands exploration. And beyond the vineyards; each journey with us carries a little something further... Through our supported NPO called 2Cchange, a portion of each tour with us goes towards projects creating positive change in local communities. Thanks for being part of the difference. Special Day in the Winelands

Our guide was great, very positive about South Africa and knowledgeable about wine. We were very delayed due to an accident on the motorway and didn’t get to do all the wine farms on the schedule, but Paul made it a special day nonetheless. Lots of lovely wines, a diversion to Plaisir highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely feedback on the Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch! It’s great to hear Paul’s positive energy and wine knowledge helped make the day special despite the delays. We appreciate your understanding around the unexpected traffic disruption, and we’re glad you still enjoyed the experience and great wine stops along the way. By joining us, you’ve also supported our #tour2Cchange initiatives, contributing to local community and conservation projects. Always keep exploring... From, Team Hotspots2C

Exceptional Wine Tour...

This day trip to the Stellenbosch region was fabulous. Started at the Fairview Wine Estate where wines were paired with cheese. Delicious! Franschhoek Town was next where we walked the town filled with wine stores, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Pretty town and so many options for lunch. Took the Wine Tram (great idea so you could go from one winery to the next without driving)! We stopped at the Rickety Bridge Farm...so much fun to try so many wines. This Winery was started by Paulina De Villiers in 1797. Last stop was the rustic wine farm of Muratie. Dessert wines paired with chocolate. Unbelievable experience, with an exceptional tour guide for the day! Highly suggest this private guided tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback on the Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch! It’s fantastic to hear you enjoyed the variety of wine farms, pairings, and the charm of Franschhoek. Sounds like a perfect day out, from cheese and wine tastings to the wine tram and unique farm stops. We’re also pleased your guide made the experience even more memorable. From, Team Hotspots2C

Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch cost?

+

Prices start at $850 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch?

+

Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Winelands Explore Full Day Tour: Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
