This tour never again
Rip off without end. All events on the tour had to be paid extra. The driver has hardly explained and described anything. First the pick up too late, then 4 hours, 5 1/2 hours have become. For the price we could have taken a taxi:-(

Overall this was a great...
Overall this was a great trip, fun and relaxed guide and lovely small group. But, since Madeira wine is world famous it must be made clearer that this wine tasting is not for the Madeira desert wine. Its simply a vineyard that is producing wines and these wines are not yet of a standard to be exported. So to be clearer on this would be better.

Green Devil 4x4 Scents & Flavours Tour - Amazing and well worth the asking price
Initially wasn't sure which trip to do or who to go with but after some advice from our hotel we booked Green Devil 4x4. My wife and I were picked up from our hotel and joined by another couple from the UK. Our driver/guide who was originally from the Azores was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We had such a good time and as one who doesn't often write reviews just had to do it this time. Top tour, top guide and Madeira is a top location to visit for a break.

Nice experience
This is a great introductory experience to the island. The winery was the focal point of the tour. They did a really nice job with providing information about growing grapes and the impact of the climate, weather and soil on the wine. The driver/ guide very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Great experience.
