Not to be missed if you visit Šolta, a fantastic tour with great people and information!

We had an absolutely lovely time on this tour. The family at the olive oil production and tasting were so lovely, the tasting and information were wonderful and some delicious snacks. The winery was the same, such lovely people, wine, information and a really lovely lunch. Then Goran at the honey farm - what he doesn’t know about need and honey is not worth knowing! Our guide was so helpful and friendly too, everyone spoke very good English and made us feel so welcome. If you’re on the fence about this tour, do it!

Response from the operator: Thank you David!

    Great experience!

The entire experience was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. We had a truly wonderful time. Our first stop was an olive oil producer, where we learned about the production process and sampled some outstanding local products. We then visited a local winery, where we tasted a variety of wines and enjoyed a delicious lunch with authentic local cuisine. The final stop was with Goran and his honeybees. Goran was an exceptional host with a wealth of knowledge. At each location, we were warmly welcomed and treated to incredible flavors. This tour beautifully showcases Šolta and was worth every penny. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt we experienced more than we could have hoped for. Thank you so much!

    great day out

This tour was one the highlights of our Croatia tour and we thoroughly enjoyed this as a family. Frane customised the tour for us to take in the highlights of the island and we started by visiting the olive groves and learning about olive oil production. We then had a olive oil tasting session followed by a visit to the honey farm with a couple of stopovers along the way. All along we were accompanied by either him or his or his sons and it was like being in the company of old friends where we chatted and learnt about life on the island. the tour ended with a simply delightful lunch along the pier where Frane had already placed the order with a selection of local food so that we would have plenty of time before our ferry back this is an experience that is highly recommended

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review!

How much does Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour take?

Is Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wine, Honey & Olive Oil of Solta Island - Tasting Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
