A truly special and personalized birthday experience
We had such a special experience at Bedalov Winery and are very grateful to the team for helping make my boyfriend’s birthday surprise possible. They went beyond a traditional wine tasting and allowed us to personalize the experience with a few of his favorite songs playing in the background and a birthday cake. Everything felt very thoughtful and personal. The service was excellent, the team was incredibly kind, and the cooperation with Nomad Quad made the whole surprise come together perfectly. And of course, the wines were absolutely delicious and truly unique! Our only regret is that they are not so easy to find and buy in Germany. We will definitely be looking forward to enjoying them again, and whenever we have the chance to return to Kaštel, Croatia, we will happily come back. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful place…
Our group of four couples could not have enjoyed our wine tasting experience more. One of the Bedalov family members (the wonderful middle child, Antea) shared with us the family history, vineyard practices and winemaking approaches for the various grape varieties… her pride in what her father and previous generations had accomplished was very evident… and rightly so, all the wines we tasted were exceptional… We live near Napa and Sonoma Valleys and have had many wine tasting experiences there but the Bedalov tasting was one of the very best… not only that but the food pairing and the coastal view were great…
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this truly spectacular review! 🩷 We are absolutely honored by your kind words, especially coming all the way from the Napa and Sonoma Valleys—that is the ultimate compliment for our family! It was an absolute joy hosting your wonderful group of four couples and sharing our father’s hard work, our family history, and our unique grape varieties with you. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the exceptional wines, the food pairings, and our coastal view. Thank you for sharing such an unforgettable highlight with us, and we hope to welcome you all back to our seaside winery someday in the future! Cheers!

Fantastic Wine Experience!
This was an exceptional experience. Great wine, great host, great venue and backdrop, and a great time had by our party. Tasted a half dozen wines, each served with carefully chosen tapas bites. The history of the family winery and the various wines/blends were explained, quite conversationally, by our host -- a member of family. She was quite accommodating for our small group and super informative and personable, making the tasting even more enjoyable, The venue for the tasting was remarkable as well, situated right on the water with spectacular views. An amazing experience I'd highly recommend.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine Tasting at Seafront Tasting Room in Kastela start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
