Nonna’s Kitchen is the best!
They truly treated us like family. Montemarano is a very special place, and Antonio and his mama, Nonna Antonia, welcomed us with incredible warmth and generosity. We began our day at their beautiful vineyard, walking among the vines and learning about the grapes and the winemaking process that make their wines so exceptional. The wine tasting was phenomenal, and hearing the stories behind each vintage made the experience even more meaningful. The experience touched us so deeply that, as a family, we decided to invest in a small part of the vineyard. There will now be a row of vines dedicated to the Rodriguez Family—a lasting connection to a place and people who welcomed us as one of their own. Afterward, we gathered in the kitchen, where Antonio and Nonna Antonia taught us how to make authentic pizza and ravioli from scratch. It was an incredible hands-on experience filled with laughter, tradition, and, of course, delicious food. We also brought quite the crew—our two sons, our daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren all under the age of four, running around and filling the day with laughter! They embraced every moment with such kindness and made us feel completely at home. Thank you, Antonio and Nonna Antonia, for an unforgettable day. The memories, the traditions, the food, the wine, and most of all your friendship, will stay with us for years to come. La famiglia è tutto. ❤️🍷🇮🇹

Perfect Relaxed Trip
We went for the Wine tasting/Pizza cooking. This was one, if not the best experience so far that we’ve had in Italy. Most tours are go, go, go but this was more of a sit down and relax/leisurely day. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was a perfect slow and relaxed day that was much needed. For the last hour we sat on the patio and relaxed with Antonio and Antonia. It was truly wonderful.

Authentic Italian Countryside Experience!
If you’re looking for authentic, traditional Italian countryside culture, you must make this a part of your trip! From the moment we arrived at CorteCorbo we were greeted and offered refreshments. The hosts were gracious, kind, and immediately made us feel at home. An incredible meal and wine tasting was waiting for us, and we also had a pizza making lesson that was so much fun! We were shown the winery and vineyards, and got to see the plaque for our adopted row. It never felt like a tour but more like being invited into someone’s life. The visit was more than I ever imagined, and we left feeling more like family than customers. CorteCorbo now has a piece of my heart!

A place of magic
CorteCorbo is a magical place nestled in the mountains of Campania. The wines are extraordinary and have deep heritage to the area. I was able to adopt my own row in their vineyards which is such an incredibly special program that they offer. All of the food is homemade with love in the same way that the wine is. This winery is truly one of a kind!

Why this scores 84
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pompeii.
How much does Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery cost?
+
Prices start at $117 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pompeii usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pompeii is not rushed.
Is Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 79 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pompeii, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pompeii can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pompeii and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine & Cooking Experience with Local Family at Cortecorbo Winery start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pompeii within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pompeii?
+
On Outty we rank every Pompeii experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Minivan Trip from Rome: Pompeii Tour & Lunch in Sorrento, Skip the Line Guided Tour of Pompeii Led by an Archaeologist, Explore Pompeii with an Archaeologist. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pompeii?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pompeii?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
