Great way to see the island of Tenerife!

Our driver, Teo, was professional and very knowledgeable about the island and its most beautiful vistas. He shared historical facts and local legends. At our request, Teo also took excellent photos and sent them to us later. We highly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure showing you the island and sharing the history and legends that make this place so special.I’m really glad you enjoyed the vistas and that the photos came out well—it’s always a joy for me to help guests capture those perfect memories. Amazing day trip in Tenerife

Our guide / photographer really made this trip exceptional! This was more than a wine tour although the wine and tapas were amazing. Theo pointed out so many things we wouldn’t have known about and stopped and some really unique places. One of the best days we had in Tenerife! He was meticulous about the pictures he took along the way!

Response from the operator: Dear Debbie! Thank you so much for your wonderful words! It was a true pleasure to host your family and share the 'hidden' side of Tenerife with you. I’m thrilled that you enjoyed the winery and tapas, but most importantly, that you appreciated the unique stops and stories along the way. I always strive to go beyond the standard tour to show my guests the authentic soul of the island. As a photographer, I take great pride in being 'meticulous' with every shot, so I'm very happy to hear those memories mean so much to you! It was one of my favorite days as well. I hope these photos serve as a beautiful reminder of your time here. Safe travels, and I hope to welcome your family back to Tenerife someday! Best regards, Theo

    South Tenerife Private Tour

Theo was an outstanding guide. This is a private tour with a stop at a winery with a tour by the owner. Wine was wonderful! We toured vila de flor and cathedral and Candalaria and the Cathedral. Theo told engaging stories and we learned much about the history of the Island. We signed up for a second tour with him to the North side of the island. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Hi Kim, I'm glad you liked the photos I took of you. Thank you for this great review!

    The best thing we did

This was worth every penny. The wine tasting was amazing. It was in the mountain area and the winery owner was charming and knowledgeable. Our guide was a vast well of facts and island history. You get personal attention that you won't get on a bus tour

Response from the operator: Hi Gail! I'm glad you liked the photos I took of you. Thank you very much for your appreciation! It was a pleasure to meet you. Best wishes!

Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included cost?

    +

Prices start at $770 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wine, Canarian Tapas, Culture, VIP Private tour - photos included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
