    Awe inspiring and mind expanding

We have racked this up in the “once in a lifetime” category. Though we hope to do this again, so maybe it will go into the “several times in a lifetime” category. We did the partial tour in early February, on a Monday morning. We were the only people, so basically had a private tour for just the two of us. We are retired, but not real elderly, and in good shape, and we handled the up and down ladder climbs and occasional tight spaces very well. There were two things that we loved about this Wind Pebble Canyon tour. The first was the spectacular geography. The vastness of the space is awe inspiring, but when you contrast that with the intense beauty of the tight slot canyons and the radiant rock formations around you, it’s another level of amazing. The other thing that we loved was how our guide, Julie, described and explained things to us. Her life has been among these lands, and without being too chatty, she provided great insight into the geography, plant and animal life, and history and culture. Though Navajo might not be forthcoming to share a lot of their words, Julie opened our eyes to some fascinating parts of Navajo history and life. And she had some tips on how to use our phone cameras to get far better pictures than we would’ve ever done on our own. Than you, Julie! I recommend that you book your tour directly through Antelope Valley Canyon Tours, which is the only company that gives Wind Pebble Canyon tours. The third-party booking websites might seem cheaper, but even though they say taxes and fees are included, they do not include a separate fee paid to the Navajo nation. So the price ends up being the same. We didn’t know how this works, and booked through a third-party instead of with the tour company itself, and we wish we would’ve supported them more directly because they seem like such a great company and group of people. We will remember climbing through these beautiful canyons and the things we learned from Julie for the rest of our lives.

    Great tour without crowds

Wallace is an excellent guide. This is the only tour for this area of the canyon so not crowded and you can take your time on your tour. Highly recommend!

    So neat!

So much fun! Julie was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and kept us moving. The views were gorgeous. Not much long distance slot canyons, but still lots of other cool geology to see.

Wind Pebble Canyon- peace and beauty

My husband and I lucked out and ended up with a private tour/ hike with Julia. We enjoyed the beauty of the various slot canyons and learning from Julia about the native plants and a little history of her tribe and their customs. We did the lower antelope canyon the next day and while beautiful and a lot longer than the slots we visited on this hike- I’d recommend Wind Pebble Canyon due to the peace and having the place to ourselves instead feeling like part of a cattle herd through Antelope

Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.

How much does Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon cost?

    +

Prices start at $106 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.

Is Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wind Pebble Canyon Full Hiking tour through Antelope Canyon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Page?

    +

Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Page?

    +

March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Page?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
