Enjoy Navajo history and explanations of the ancient geological landscape on the 30 minutes drive to the east rim. Experience the breathtaking scenery at The Grand Horseshoe Bend, a view twice the size of the famous Horseshoe Bend by Page/Lake Powell. See wildlife such as Eagles, Coyotes, and Stallions. The most incredible views of the Grand Canyon I've ever seen.
Ronnie was very knowledgeable about the area, and really made the whole tour a great experience. We were picked up in Page, and visited six locations in one day, including an overlook near Page, Tatahatso Point, Kwagunt Overlook, Confluence Overlook, Echo Cliffs, and a miniature painted desert near Echo Cliffs. Didn't see one other car out there. It's like having your own Grand Canyon Rim to yourself. Unlike any other tour available in Page.

The best canyon experience ever!
We had the best day with Ronnie as our tour guide. Antelope Canyon and Tatahatso point in Grand Canyon! Special and personalized tours you can’t get anywhere else. Ronnie is so personable and shared his culture and history and homeland with us. Really special and amazing! He’s also the best photographer and documented every fun detail and moment of our trip! It was the best day and most memorable trip ever! We were the ONLY ones at Tatahatso point and we had lunch over looking the canyon with the table he set up for us. You can’t do this anywhere else! An Unforgettable Journey to the East Edge of the Grand Canyon If you are looking for an experience far away from the typical crowded tourist viewpoints, East Rim Tours with Ronnie is a must-book. From start to finish, Ronnie was exceptionally professional, deeply knowledgeable, and welcoming. Traveling was in a comfortable van. What truly sets this tour apart are the unique, exclusive experiences you simply cannot get on your own. Ronnie took us out to breathtaking, remote overlooks of Marble Canyon and the stunning confluence of the Colorado and Little Colorado rivers. Standing thousands of feet above the water, watching waters of the Little Colorado meet the main river without a crowd in sight was an absolute highlight. Beyond the spectacular geology, the heart of the tour lies in the profound cultural connection. Through stories passed down through his family going back generations on this very land, Ronnie offered an authentic window into Navajo Diné culture and history that generic guidebooks can never match. If you want a deeper, more meaningful, and visually stunning perspective of the region, highly recommended!

Do not hesitate to book this tour, it’s incredible
Our Grand Canyon adventure was truly outstanding. Our guide Ronnie was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The tour starting about 45 minutes south of Page was perfect for us since we were heading to Sedona for a couple nights afterward. Traveling as a single parent with my two kids (13 and 11), I really appreciated how engaging and educational the tour was—we all loved learning about Navajo culture, geology, and spotting wildlife like lizards and prairie dogs. The views of the canyon were absolutely breathtaking, and the lack of crowds made it even more special. We literally drove right to the edge of the canyon, no strenuous hiking. My kids loved the drive there as it kind of felt like off-roading but you’re in a nice all wheel drive van, it handled surprisingly well going up the steep hills and navigating through the terrain. Easily one of the best tours we’ve ever taken.

Magical Experience
Booking with East Grand Canyon Navajo Tours is a personal and unforgettable way to experience a secluded part of the Grand Canyon on the Navajo Nation. Ronnie graciously accommodated our group of four on very short notice, and we're so glad he did. This was much more than a sightseeing tour. Ronnie shared his deep knowledge of the area's geography and geology, along with the history and culture of the Diné people, making every stop along the journey meaningful. Reaching the breathtaking overlook on the east rim of the Grand Canyon was the highlight of our day. Ronnie had a picnic table and chairs set up at the canyon's edge so we could enjoy lunch while taking in a spectacular view that few visitors ever get to experience. We had the entire overlook to ourselves—no crowds, no noise, no distractions—just the incredible beauty of the canyon. To top it all off, a raven soared overhead before making a dramatic dive into the canyon, adding to an already magical moment. The drive is definitely bumpy, but every mile is worth it. If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful, and one-of-a-kind Grand Canyon experience, this is it.
