Amazing wildlife holiday
We visited Agra, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench & Satpura all organised by Chinkara Journeys. Saurabh was really helpful during the booking process and joined us for some of our safaris in Kanha. Most of the accommodation was excellent. The safaris were amazing, especially in Kanha and Satpura. The guides at both of the lodges we stayed at when visiting these two parks were superb. We saw 19 different tigers across the 4 parks, a leopard, sloth bear and even jungle cat and civet in Satpura and so much more. The transfers were well organised and everyone at the lodges were so helpful. We had an amazing time in India.

A dream of a trip!
We can’t rate this experience highly enough! It was an amazing trip from start to finish. We got to see incredible wildlife with very close up and intimate tiger sightings, leopards, Indian wild dogs, giant Indian squirrels and Slothbears plus an array of other flora and fauna and memorable birds. The lodges where stayed were excellent but what made it so memorable were the people we got to spend time with; the wonderful, friendly staff at Shergarth in Khana, the exceptionally knowledgeable guides who accompanied us. The use of local people as trackers and drivers was one of the decisive factors in choosing Chinkara. A huge thank you goes out to Saurabh and he is the reason why, if you are thinking of doing such a trip, do it with this company. He was so hands on, so well organised and even when we continued on our journey to Kerala, he made sure we had a seamless trip from start to finish. Don’t even consider any other company 😊

A perfect wildlife trip!
I really can’t thank Saurabh of Chinkara Journeys enough. Our trip was utterly brilliant from start to finish. First and foremost, the biodiversity and landscapes were stunning. The mammal sightings, particularly tigers and leopards, far exceeded our hopes and expectations. The birding was also brilliant. The backdrop to this was similarly fantastic – the people, food and places we stayed in. Tathastu, Bandhavgarh. This was probably our favourite accommodation. Our cottage was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. The food was amazing! The staff soon realised that we just wanted to have Indian food and we were totally spoilt for choice - it was all delicious and a real highlight of the trip. The service and attention to detail were great. The whole team were lovely, but Debasish was particularly kind and engaged, taking the time to look after us throughout our stay. Shergarh, Kahna. The setting was beautiful, as were the tents. Getting to hang out with Vipul was a high point of the entire trip. He was so generous with his time and knowledge - we learnt so much from him in all regards (wildlife, conservation across the region, food, culture). We also laughed with him a lot. He was a delight to hang out with. Jungle Camp, Pench. The accommodation is a bit tired, but fine. The staff were good. Reni Pani, Satpura. The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were all very attentive. The food was diverse, plentiful and tasty. We loved visiting and learning about all the parks, each one being unique and stunning its own right, but Satpura was the standout. Totally magic. This is partly because there are far fewer safari vehicles around in the core and buffer areas. Being on the water in the Reni Pani boat was also extraordinary and led to some truly remarkable sightings (e.g. a tiger chasing a couple of sambar deer into the water and then resting at the waters edge, having breakfast while watching a female leopard and her two large cubs for a couple of hours). George was completely brilliant. We loved spending time with him, as well as him being a talented naturalist. The Bhimbetka caves were a delight and well worth visiting on our way to Bhopal. Jehan Numa Retreat was also a great location to pause before the journey back to the UK. We have no hesitation in recommending Chinkara Journeys to our friend and will definitely be in touch about booking up a future trip in the coming years. Saurabh really is brilliant at what he does!

A Lifetime Dream Realized – 24 Tigers, plus Leopards and Sloth Bears. Flawless Service
Back in May 2025 we undertook a 17-day journey through India with Chinkara Journeys, and it was quite simply the trip of a lifetime. Our primary goal was a lifelong dream of seeing tigers in the wild, and Saurabh delivered beyond our wildest expectations. The Planning: The process was fantastic. Saurabh was incredibly patient, accommodating multiple changes as we fine-tuned our itinerary. His communication was fast, professional, and reassuring. The Trip: We began with a seamless cultural tour of Delhi and Agra—standing before the Taj Mahal was a bucket-list moment that was perfectly organized. However, the heart of the trip was the safaris in Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench, and Satpura. The results speak for themselves: 24 tiger sightings, 3 elusive leopards, and plenty of Sloth Bears across the sites, plus a plethora of new bird species we hadn't expected to see. We travelled with comfort and confidence on planes, trains, and cars across large parts of Central India - something we simply would not be able to do on our own. The Small Business Advantage: What sets Chinkara Journeys apart is the personal touch. The quality of the safari lodge accommodations was superb across the board. Furthermore, Saurabh personally joined us as a guide for some of our safaris; his expertise and passion for wildlife added a layer of depth to the experience that you simply won't get with a large corporate agency. If you are looking for a tailored, expert-led, and deeply personal travel experience in India, look no further than Saurabh and Chinkara Journeys.

Amazing Tiger and Wildlife experience that will give you memories for years to come.
Am amazing tiger and wildlife trip led by Saurabh who is a trained naturalist and talented wildlife photographer. Apart from a number of tiger sightings I saw many other animals, birds, flora and fauna in Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench and Satpura tiger reserves. The experience was enhanced with naturalists accompanying each safari trip. Accommodations were all marvellous, food was fabulous, small group of 8 was ideal, length of stay (11 nights/ 12 days) was just about right and travel between reserves was comfortable in air conditioned modern cars.

Wildlife of Central India: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Wildlife of Central India cost?
+
Prices start at ₹261,333 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wildlife of Central India take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Wildlife of Central India worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wildlife of Central India?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Wildlife of Central India suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wildlife of Central India?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wildlife of Central India start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, 5 Nights 6 Days Private Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi Agra Jaipur, Old & New Delhi Private City Tour – Traveler’s Choice (Top Rated). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
