    Ok, but….overpriced and mis/represented. Disappointing

Total tour was only 5 hours, not the full 6 hours as advertised. “Included snacks”: We received 2 bottles of water each plus shared 3 very small packets of chips between two of us. DID NOT include the stated trip to the indigenous people island (as outlined in itinerary) to see tribal customs, costumes, dances. This part was the only reason why we decided to pay 2 to 3 times more ($70 to $90 extra) than the various other similar tours ($40 to $60 per person). Other tours to just do the lake boat tour of Panama Canal + Monkey Island + Sloth Sanctuary + Butterflies/Dart Frogs were in the $40 to $60 range. We paid $129 to get the extra stuff that we did not actually get. Don’t do this tour. Not worth it and poor value for money. Consider alternative options and do other tours for $40 to $60 to do the Panama Canal lake boat tour of monkeys + sloths/butterflies. This one at $129 for those items is way overpriced, disappointing and not competitive with other options.

    Great Experience!

We had Alejandro as our guide for the second consecutive day, which was great! He again picked us up from the hotel in the clean, air conditioned van, and drive us to our destination. We started with a boat ride into the Canal to reach Gatun Lake. Here we visited various islands where the wild monkeys would approach the boat for food. The tour provides fruit for you to feed the moneys if you're so inclined. Following the boat portion of the tour, we returned to land and were driven to visit both the sloth sanctuary and butterfly preserve. A great way to experience some of the Panamanian wildlife and nature up close! Alejandro is a terrific guide and definitely contributes to the overall experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback. We're glad you had a good experience.
