Dolphin Sightseeing!
Our guide, Nate, was very knowledgeable about dolphins. It only took 10 minutes before we spotted a few dolphins. He got the dolphins to follow the wake of the boat. He also spotted some manatees. All in all, it was a great experience. I would recommend a trip with the Wild Dolphin Tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you, James, for the wonderful review! We're so glad you had a great time with Captain Nate on your Wild Dolphin Tour. Seeing dolphins within the first few minutes is always exciting, and it's even better when they decide to play in the boat's wake. We're also happy you were able to spot manatees during the trip. Encounters like those make every tour unique and memorable. Thank you for recommending Florida Island Tours. We appreciate you spending part of your vacation with us and hope to welcome you back for another Marco Island dolphin tour soon! 🐬🌴🚤

Going on the tour was very relaxing and informative. Got to see dolphins and other wildlife. It was hot outside and I was so glad the boat was covered.

We liked hearing about...
We liked hearing about the history of Goodland and Marco Island. Plus the original inhabitants. We almost missed the tour but Captain Nate was kind and enough to call and wait for us. We were at the wrong marina. Maybe better instructions of where to meet on the ticket.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Stephanie! Florida Island Tours is so glad you enjoyed learning about the history of Goodland, Marco Island, and the area’s original inhabitants. That local storytelling is a big part of what makes our Marco Island dolphin tours special. We’re also happy Captain Nate was able to connect with you in time—he always does his best to take care of guests. For future guests, the exact address and step-by-step directions are included on the ticket and confirmation. Taking a quick look before arrival helps avoid mix-ups, as there are a few nearby marinas. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again soon on the water 🌊🐬

Tour Marco Island From The Water
My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. This is a must do excusion. Captain John was awesome! He explained the mangroves and what we could see. We saw birds, dolphins and wildlife. Toured the inner channels and cruised by the homes of amazing homes of Marco Island residents and the rich and famous. It was a way to see parts of Marco Island and the surrounding area that you cannot see by car. Definitely worth the trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review, Mike. Florida Island Tours is glad you and your wife enjoyed the Best of Marco Island Dolphin Tour. Seeing the mangroves, dolphins, birds, and Marco Island’s beautiful waterfront homes from the water really gives a whole new perspective of the area. Captain John loves sharing the local ecology and hidden channels along the way. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you again for another Marco Island boat tour soon. 🐬🌴 Florida Island Tours

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wild Dolphin Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Wild Dolphin Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wild Dolphin Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Wild Dolphin Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 61 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wild Dolphin Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wild Dolphin Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wild Dolphin Tour?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wild Dolphin Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
