    It was an okay trip

The driver was good. The guide in the mines was very hard to understand. She did not welcome questions.

Response from the operator: Hi Carla, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. 😊 We are glad to hear that you were satisfied with your driver, but we are truly sorry to learn that the mine guide did not meet your expectations. We always want our guests to feel welcome and to be able to follow along comfortably, so we will be passing your comments along to ensure the quality of communication is improved. We really appreciate your honesty, as it helps us do better. We hope you still enjoyed the breathtaking views inside the mine, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back on another SeeKrakow tour in the future to give you a much better experience! ⛏️✨ Warm regards, The SeeKrakow Team

    Unexpected

It was a nice experience. Pick up was perfectly on time and the salt mines were great. The only issue was that they did not tell us the time when to go back for the return trip, thus we did not do the museum part as we thought that the coach will not wait for us. Another issue was that we went up with the lift that is 400m away from the coach. We were confused how to find the coach. This should have been told to us before we enter the salt mines. Otherwise all was good.

Response from the operator: Dear sharonz2026, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. 😊 We are glad to hear that your pick-up was perfectly on time and that you found the salt mines themselves to be a nice experience! At the same time, we are truly sorry for the confusion regarding the return time and the walk from the lift to the coach. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to miss the museum part because of this. Your comments are incredibly valuable to us, and we will definitely discuss this with our team to ensure our drivers and coordinators provide clearer instructions and logistics before the tour begins. 🚌 We hope that despite these hiccups, you brought home some wonderful memories from Krakow. If you ever decide to visit our beautiful city again, we would love to have another chance to host you on one of our other SeeKrakow tours and provide you with a flawless experience. 🏰 Warm regards, The SeeKrakow Team

    Irreliable provider headout

I book a tour under headout for 830am with hotel pickup. The tour was postponed to 1030am and told me 1 day before and the pickup was not my hotel but a pick up point which i had to walk 10mins in the rain to get to jt

Response from the operator: Dear GlobeTrotting794155, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption to your tour experience. We completely understand your frustration—getting a last-minute time change and having to walk in the rain to a pickup point is absolutely not the seamless experience we aim to provide. While we occasionally have to adjust schedules or pickup points due to local traffic regulations or local operator availability, we know how frustrating it is to receive this news just a day before your tour. We want to look directly into your booking and make this right. Please reach out to our dedicated support team with your booking ID and reference this review. We are committed to resolving this for you as quickly as possible. Warm regards, The SeeKrakow Team

    Extremely poor organisation

The salt mine was very interesting but the organisation from SeeKrakow was atrocious. Our pick up point and time were changed 3 times in less than 24 hours between booking and getting on the bus, which was confusing and disconcerting. At the salt mine the driver handed us over to a guide taking a general public individual tour, not an organised group tour as we had been led to believe. This meant we exited the mine in a town centre about half a mile from where we entered and had no idea how to get back to the bus. It was only when someone from SeeKrakow phoned to complain that we were late and holding up the bus that we got directions. I would definitely advise finding a different tour operator to book the salt mine with.

Response from the operator: Dear Colin G, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear you found the salt mine itself interesting, but we sincerely apologise for the difficulties you experienced with the pick-up confirmation time and the exit from the mine. A holiday should be seamless, and we recognise that we fell short in this instance. Your pick-up time was originally scheduled for 08:40 in the morning, and that information has not changed. In the confirmation messages sent from our reservation system, there was a general starting time for the tour noted as 08:30. However, since you opted for hotel pick-up, we adjusted your pick-up time to 08:40. We apologise if this caused any confusion. Regarding the tour inside the mine and the challenges you encountered with the exit location, the choice of which exit lift to use at the end of the tour is entirely at the discretion of the Salt Mine Dispatch and the Guide. Unfortunately, we do not receive updates about this from the mine. We also regret any frustration caused by the follow-up call regarding the bus. Our intention was not to imply a complaint but rather to locate you and ensure you received assistance with finding the bus, as all other participants in our tour had already boarded. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure a smoother experience for our guests in the future. Kind regards, The SeeKrakow Team

Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets cost?

    +

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 319 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets?

    +

Around 112 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour & Transport from Krakow & Tickets start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
