Let yourself be enchanted by the mine's underground lakes sparkling with a mysterious glow. In addition to unique and charming views, the salt mine also has health properties. It has its own unique microclimate that has a beneficial effect on everyone and above all, alleviates respiratory problems. When you finish exploring the mine, take a lift upstairs by "Szola" which is an old traditional, industrial elevator for miners.

Olaf is the best!
We booked a trip to the salt mines with pickup at 10am, and from the moment Olaf arrived bang on time, the whole experience was fantastic. Olaf was an absolute pleasure to have as our driver and guide. On the journey there, he chatted with us throughout, recommended other places we could visit during our free time, and gave us plenty of helpful advice about what to expect once we arrived at the salt mines. Any questions we had, Olaf was more than happy to answer, explaining everything clearly and in perfect detail. The customer service was spot on, and the driving was smooth and comfortable throughout. When we finished at the salt mines, Olaf was already waiting for us with a big smile on his face. Unfortunately, three ladies who were travelling with us were around half an hour late. We really didn’t mind waiting, and in that time my family and Olaf had a great laugh and a general chat. It really showed what a genuinely friendly and caring person he is. Honestly, I don’t think we could have asked for a more polite, caring, funny and knowledgeable guide/driver. Olaf went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and he made the whole day even more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend Olaf to anyone visiting the area. Great day in Krakow
Margaret our driver to the salt mine was very friendly. She pointed out several places of interest and gave us some great suggestions that have been very helpful. The tour guide at the salt mine did an excellent job.
