Great way to get to Anchorage from Cruise Terminal
The actual drive time is about an hour but there's a one way tunnel at Whittier one must wait to get through. That's why it says 2 hours. The bus was new and comfortable. The driver was polite and informative. The scenery on the way was breathtaking!

An easy, comfortable, and...
An easy, comfortable, and stress-free ride to Anchorage Airport after our cruise. Our driver was very nice and pointed out landmarks along the way.

Easy transfer to Whittier
This was a fine transfer from Anchorage to Whittier. There wasn’t any signage or person at the airport guiding to where to go, but we found the bus. We were late leaving the airport by 15 minutes waiting on a few passengers. I was a little worried that it would affect our ship boarding time, but it didn’t. Sit on the passenger side of the bus for better views!
Response from the operator: Thank you for traveling with Pacific Alaska Tours. We’re glad you arrived in Whittier with plenty of time for your cruise. We would like to clarify that this review describes our Anchorage to Whittier shared transfer, but was posted under our Whittier to Anchorage Direct Transfer, which may cause some confusion for future guests. For Anchorage Airport pickups, our confirmation email clearly states the pickup time and directs guests to meet outside Door #1 of Arrivals in the motorcoach staging area. We also reach out prior to travel to confirm pickup times and locations. Guests who book directly with us receive a detailed meeting-location map; Viator/Tripadvisor limits the information and attachments we are able to provide through their platform. As a shared transfer, we also make every reasonable effort not to leave confirmed guests behind. Our schedule includes buffer time for the Whittier Tunnel and cruise embarkation, so a brief delay at pickup does not necessarily affect the planned arrival time. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing Pacific Alaska Tours.
