Great Day Trip
We met our guide Andre at 8.30am by the Holiday Inn on Howe Street and we were soon on our merry way on the Sea to Sky Highway, taking in the scenery on our about 60 minute journey to our first stop at Shannon Falls. The falls are lovely, close to the parking area for those less physically able you can still see the 335 metres high drop. If you are able the short walk is worth it to take in the falls in all their glory. A short stop here but more than enough time to take in the views and get some photos. Its then a short journey to the Sea to Sky Gondola and a scenic journey up to the suspension bridge. Relive Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom on this near 100 metres long suspension bridge, a great view a great experience and plenty of scenic photo opportunities. Back on the gondola and down to our waiting coach for the trip onwards to Whistler, which took around an hour. Not part of the tour but we took the opportunity to go and jump in a helicopter and fly over the mountains, highly recommended. Whistler itself is a quaint little town, clearly aimed at winter sports but still very lively during the summer. We had a bite to eat and a walk around to see the Olympic rings and the Inukshuk. A nice way to spend the two or so hours we had. Back on the bus and 90 or so minutes later we were back in Vancouver. Our tour guide gave us relevant information throughout our journey and kept everything running smoothly, the bus was comfortable and the stop time at each place was appropriate. At around £115 each we got a good days sightseeing.

Very Long
The information for this tour was misleading. Instead of the indicated itinerary as it was stated on your site and with the purchased ticket, the stop was stated as 2 hours in Whistler. It actually turned out it was 4 hours at Whistler. Way too long in my opinion. Instead of my expected 6-7 hours it ended up being 10 hours. Big difference from planning purposes like making dinner reservations. Please make this more clear on your site.
Response from the operator: We hope you enjoyed your trip to Whistler Village. Thank you for your feedback, we will take it into consideration to keep improving our tours.

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.
How much does Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver cost?
+
Prices start at $141 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.
Is Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Whistler Sightseeing & Sea to Sky Gondola Tour from Vancouver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vancouver?
+
On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout, Epic Electric Bike Tour of Vancouver, Whistler, Sea to Sky Gondola, & Shannon Falls Tour from Vancouver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vancouver?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vancouver?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
