What you'll see and do
Peanut Island Park
Our route takes us by Peanut Island Park, a local favorite where clear blue water meets quiet coves, picnic areas, and some of the best wildlife viewing in the Lake Worth Lagoon.
Lake Worth Inlet
We’ll cruise through Lake Worth Inlet, the main gateway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Lake Worth Lagoon. As we pass, you’ll hear the fascinating story of how this inlet was carved out and engineered to shape the modern waterways we enjoy today.
West Palm Beach
As we continue, we’ll pass waterfront estates owned by the rich, the famous, and the occasionally infamous. You’ll also get great views of Palm Beach Island and Henry Flagler’s Whitehall Museum—a true Gilded Age landmark.
We’ll cruise past Rybovich Marina, one of the top mega-yacht marinas in the world. This is where you’ll often see 200- to 300-foot superyachts lined up like a floating skyline. Vessels owned by tech billionaires, sports team owners, and international families often call this marina home for the season. It’s not unusual to spot custom explorers, helicopter pads, or a yacht with its own submarine. Boats that commonly visit include yachts from billionaires like Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, sports owners like Terry Pegula, and seasonal regulars that rotate in from Europe and the islands.

An evening to remember-relax with Paul
Paul was an amazing captain and narrator for this boat trip. We had a lovely evening of info, laughs and music on the calm waters of the intercostal! I would highly recommend Paul and the Flying Lady pontoon boat for a relaxing evening.

Sunset tour
My family and I went on a sunset tour with Captain Joe tonight and it was so much fun! He made time to show us Peanut Island and the celebrity houses since we were curious to see both. He knows so much about the area and it was great to learn from a true local. For all of the houses we saw he knew the history and some great stories. Thanks for a fantastic tour!

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for West Palm Beach.
How much does West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $390 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in West Palm Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in West Palm Beach is not rushed.
Is West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in West Palm Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in West Palm Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in West Palm Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does West Palm Beach Narrated Historic Boat Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central West Palm Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in West Palm Beach?
+
West Palm Beach mixes coastal boat tours and jet ski runs on the Intracoastal with Everglades airboat trips, Palm Beach mansion cruises and day trips to Peanut Island. On Outty we rank every West Palm Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Snorkel Tour Phil Foster Park (HIGH TIDE ONLY-FREE VIDEOS), Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour, Paddle Boarding Eco Adventure Tour Jupiter Florida - Singer Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit West Palm Beach?
+
November to April, the dry season along the Atlantic coast. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in West Palm Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
