What you'll see and do
Taste the flavors of South Florida as we get you off-the-beaten path and into locally owned restaurants. We'll get you started with a traditional Cuban guava and cheese pastry as you enjoy the waterfront views. That's what our food tour is all about...local flavors, local stories, local sites. You'll feel like you're walking around downtown West Palm Beach with a local who's taking you to their favorite restaurants and introducing you to fun chefs and restaurant owners along the way. Speaking of walking, you'll be walking a total of 1.5 miles over 2.5 hours, so expect to walk about 3 blocks between each restaurant. Along the way, we'll share some crazy stories from our past and we'll learn about the vibrant murals around town. FYI - we do sit down at all of the restaurants, and restrooms are available.
30 minutes here
On the way to Pistache French Bistro, we'll walk thru our beautiful waterfront park, and we'll share a bit of history of our area. Pistache French Bistro is one of the oldest restaurants downtown, and we'll enjoy a traditional croque monsieur as we dine in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the waterfront park.
30 minutes here
Salento Coffee is a favorite local coffee shop, and it's owned by a husband and wife team from Colombia. Jaime shows our guests how to make a particular type of Colombian coffee, and then we all share in a delicious Colombian tradition together.
30 minutes here
It's time for tropical fruit show and tell, and you'll taste and learn about coconuts, tamarinds and key limes. Enjoy a coconut cutting demonstration that promises to be quite memorable. In fact, the next time you see a coconut, if you don't remember West Palm Beach, we'll be surprised. You'll finish your day with an authentic key lime pie, and just remember...key lime pie should never be green.

Find out about WBP and its local foods!
Raheem was a fantastic guide. He was very engaging and passionate about supporting local businesses and representing the food from WPB. Learned a lot of WPB history, but most importantly come hungry!

Why this scores 96
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for West Palm Beach.
How much does Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $94 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in West Palm Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in West Palm Beach is not rushed.
Is Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 96 out of 100, which we label "Peak Performance". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 793 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in West Palm Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour?
+
Around 278 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in West Palm Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in West Palm Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central West Palm Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in West Palm Beach?
+
West Palm Beach mixes coastal boat tours and jet ski runs on the Intracoastal with Everglades airboat trips, Palm Beach mansion cruises and day trips to Peanut Island. On Outty we rank every West Palm Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Snorkel Tour Phil Foster Park (HIGH TIDE ONLY-FREE VIDEOS), Paddle Boarding Eco Adventure Tour Jupiter Florida - Singer Island, Bulk Candy Store Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit West Palm Beach?
+
November to April, the dry season along the Atlantic coast. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in West Palm Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
