About this experience
Two very different experiences combined in one tour so you can get into the real spirit of Berat. After driving for some 35 kilometers from Berat, the next leg of the journey is a 40-minute hike through a lush forest. Then, you will be rewarded with the magnificent view of the Bogova Waterfall! The water falls from 20 meters of height feeding a 12-meter deep pool. The spot is perfect for taking in the sun, relaxing amidst the sounds of nature, and taking an energizing swim. After immersing yourself in nature, it is time to immerse your taste buds in one of the top-rated wineries of the region– the Alpeta Winery. The flavors of their wine selection come alive as you feast on seasonal finger food, all local - cheese, fruits/olives, and dried fruits. A member of the family will tell you the story of the making of this strong Albanian wine brand. You will end the day with the sounds of nature in your soul and a taste of Berat’s most famous wines.

Memorable Experience in Albania
We had an amazing time on this tour! We were lucky enough to have the company and guidance of Eri and Geri and saw many beautiful sights and learned more about Albanian culture. I love the passion that this company has to showing tourists their beautiful country. I would totally recommend this tour or any with 1001 Albanian Adventures.

Highlight of our trip
We had the most amazing experience on this tour in Berat! Our guide Erilda was going out of her way making this day really the highlight of our 2 weeks holiday in Albania. The waterfall is really beautiful and the water is refreshingly cold. Then we dud a littstop trying local juices and later had lunch at the most amazing local restaurant with only fresh ingredients. We went on to the cosy family run vineyard in a truly picturesque setting and tasted the wine and rhaki. We highly recommend this tour! You won't regret it.

How far in advance should I book Waterfalls and wine flows - Bogova waterfall and Alpeta Winery Winetasting tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, Berat Cooking Class- Traditional Albanian Cooking Class /By Vato. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
