    Never got to go

Water Country and Groupon both decided they were not going to refund my $200 after scamming it from me. Groupon advertised Water Country tickets, and the only Water Country I know about is the one in New Hampshire that has been around for decades. After driving 3 hours, I was informed that I got scammed, like many others do. They claimed you stole their name and added USA to the end of it. It happens so often that they handed me a printed me with your email on it, and then made me buy all new tickets. This is unacceptable and I want my $200 refunded!

    Great day out !

We came on a Saturday 8/8 and it was busy as we expected. We went to guest services to find out what RAP they provide for children with disabilities. Their programme gives 4 virtual queue tickets for 4 chosen rides. Once’s used you can go back for 4 more and so on. This worked brilliantly for us and made the whole experience so enjoyable. When we did entire queues it was a few cycles , longest queue was 20 mins. Which is something my son can cope with. Lad at guest services was brilliant.. so helpful . Some of the lifeguards were more animated than others . But that’s character .

    Not fun

Thought I was buying two tickets for Water Country USA on 08/04/26 only to get to the park and find out the tickets are for an Aqua night event that ended on 08/01/26 despite the fact even on the previous page it asks how my day was at Water Country USA. Could not reach anyone at viator, I’m now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Let see.

    Will not return.

Bandages: several floating in wave pool. Wave pool was underwhelming. Staff was unfriendly. Food cost high tbe. Cutback water coaster was fun. But other slides were dated and need renovated . As does the park. Will not return.

    OUTSTANDING

Best water park ever! We were fortunate with the weather and with not having many rides with long lines. The park encompasses 43 miles - so be ready to do some walking. Sections seem to have a good mix of activities - each with age-appropriate water slides. Little ones will enjoy the splash parks; Cowabunga was just one of our favorites (ages 7 and 9). But the Hubba Hubba Highway won everyone over! Plan on spending the entire day, you will want to repeat most of the rides over and over again. We splurged on a cabana, and although it is a bit expensive, when you have a large group, having a dedicated home base really helps when everyone wants to go a different part of the park.

Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Williamsburg.

How much does Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia) cost?

    +

Prices start at $51 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Williamsburg usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia) take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Williamsburg is not rushed.

Is Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 119 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Williamsburg, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia)?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Williamsburg can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Williamsburg and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Water Country USA Ticket (Williamsburg, Virginia) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Williamsburg within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Williamsburg?

    +

Williamsburg centres on Colonial Williamsburg passes, Jamestown and Yorktown history tours, lantern-lit ghost walks and theme park tickets a few minutes away. On Outty we rank every Williamsburg experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Historic Guided Tour to Jamestown and Yorktown with Lunch, Magic Happens at The Wagsters Magic Theatre, Williamsburg Ghosts, Witches and Pirates Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Williamsburg?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Williamsburg?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
