What you'll see and do

  1. Lawrence's Spring

We'll visit a small natural spring said to be used by Lawrence of Arabia, offering great views and a glimpse of how my people and their animals found water in the desert over centuries.

    20 minutes here

  2. Red Sand Dune - Al Ramal

I'll drive us by 4x4 jeep to a tall, soft dune of deep red sand where you can climb for sweeping views or slide down for fun - rumored to have appeared in several blockbuster films

    20 minutes here

  3. Jebel Khazali

Our next stop is a shaded narrow canyon with ancient petroglyphs on its walls and cool, shaded passages to explore. Ill guide you through the canyon and point out notable inscriptions

    30 minutes here

  4. We'll walk up to a short, easy-to-reach natural rock arch that’s perfect for photos and quick climbs

    20 minutes here

  5. Lawrence's House

We end the morning at Lawrence house, remains of Lawrence’s desert base, with breathtaking views and a glimpse into Wadi Rum’s history

    15 minutes here

  6. Wadi Rum Protected Area

Lunch is the most special part of our tour. I'll take you to visit some of my family at their Bedouin camp while I make you lunch. You'll get a glimpse of animal-rearing in the desert and learn more about what a nomadic and seasonal lifestyle looks like in practice. This is the most authentic way to experience traditional Bedouin life and is not something many tourists do while visiting Wadi Rum - it is the most important part of this tour for me. Lunch will also be delicious! One of the highlights is Galayet Bandora, a traditional Jordanian Bedouin dish made of tomatoes, olive oil, onions, and spices, served with fresh bread. You'll eat, chat, and see a new side of the desert

    45 minutes here

  7. After lunch we head to Mushroom Rock, famous rock formation shaped like a giant mushroom created by centuries of wind erosion

    20 minutes here

  8. Continue onto the Burdah rock bridge viewpoint, one of the most spectacular formations in Wadi Rum. This arch towers over the desert floor - but makes for some of the best views and pictures

    20 minutes here

  9. Then we walk through Abu Khashaba canyon (30–45 min hike), a peaceful walking canyon with soft sand, shaded spots, and beautiful rock walls on both sides, while the jeep meets you at the other side

    40 minutes here

  10. Next stop is Um Fruth rock bridge, where you can climb for amazing photos. Then we stop by Chicken Rock, a quirky rock formation shaped like a chicken, adding a lighthearted stop on your Wadi Rum adventure

    30 minutes here

  11. As the day comes to an end, we reach Um Sabatah, renowned for its sweeping desert views and breathtaking sunsets. As we enjoy the golden colors over the soft sand, sip a traditional Bedouin tea by the fire and soak in the magical atmosphere. After this unforgettable desert moment, we drive back to Wadi Rum Village

Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Aqaba.

How much does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Aqaba usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience take?

+

Is Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Aqaba, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience?

+

Is Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Aqaba can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Aqaba and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour and Bedouin Family Lunch Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Aqaba within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Aqaba?

+

On Outty we rank every Aqaba experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Diving Experience in The Heart of Red Sea in Aqaba, Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour + Overnight & Dinner in Bedouin Camp, Diving, Snorkeling & Leisure Cruises by Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Aqaba?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Aqaba?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
