100% Recommended for adventurous people

Indescribable experience, with real Bedouin guides (shoutout to Atilla). It’s a perfect mix of everything: during the day we could go around Madi Rum, visiting all the main attractions/dunes/canyons/etc. Our group of 5 stopped for lunch in a very private fissure, where we had amazing food cocked by Atilla. We could also try sand boarding and we enjoyed the sunset on a high point. The cave where we spent the night in was more cozy than we expected, since we were given soft blankets and a sort of mattress to sleep on. We felt always safe, and stargazing was unbeatable! Once again, 100% recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you for these nice words, we enjoyed our time with you as well and had a great time also. Glas you enjoyed it!

Amazing tour guide and unique desert experience

Absolutely amazing and unique experience in the middle of desert, we eat nicely, sleep well, watch beautiful star and hear dogs barking (wolf?) and ride camel and also slide in the sand tune. The landscape is spectacular.

Response from the operator: Thank you!!

Most beautiful place on Earth (for me)

This is by far my favourite place on Earth. First time I've been here was back in may 2022 and I fell in love with this place so I came back in may 2024 and this year (2025) I'll visit again. That's how much I love it! This desert is amazing: you have to take a jeep tour (most of the bedouin camps can put it together for you) and I would recommend a 4 to 8 hour tour, to see most of it because every part of it is different. You'll see red and sand dunes, the tall mountains that rise up straight out of sand, the unique shape of the rocks and mountains, and of course, a sky full of starts from a bedouin camp, in the middle of the desert. That feeling, stargazing next to a fire in the desert, it's amazing, unique and hard to experience somewhere else. I advise you to visit during spring or fall because of the high temperatures. Also, in may we had 37 degrees Celsius but they were bearable because there is no humidity and it's quite easy to breathe if there are no sandstorms (also caught one). During the tour I would adivsce to keep you ears protected with a scarf because it can get pretty windy at times and also keep your head and shoulders covered up so you don't get sunburnt. Spend at least one day and one night here, take the jeep tour and stagazing tour and immerse yourself into this amazing, ancient world <3

Response from the operator: Thank you very much! It was lovely having you here again and you’re welcome back anytime!

Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Aqaba.

How much does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food cost?

+

Prices start at $37 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Aqaba usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Aqaba is not rushed.

Is Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Aqaba, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food?

+

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Aqaba can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Aqaba and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour - Stargazing Overnight in a Cave - Traditional Food start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Aqaba within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Aqaba?

+

On Outty we rank every Aqaba experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Diving Experience in The Heart of Red Sea in Aqaba, Wadi Rum Full Day Jeep Tour + Overnight & Dinner in Bedouin Camp, Diving, Snorkeling & Leisure Cruises by Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Aqaba?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Aqaba?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
