Thank you Martin - literally could not have achieved this without you!
Call me silly ( people often do) but I expected a 7 hour tour! However this was misleading in the description. I was accompanied to the zoo and then left to my own devices to get back after 2.5 hours. I met Martin at 1 minute before departure from the King Charles statue. Panic was already on my mind as I frantically asked complete strangers if they were going to the zoo as I expected a group swarming around an orange umbrella. So when I saw a kind looking man with an orange brolly in his hand I was told the tour was just me!! First off Ifollowed this complete stranger to a tram stop! Then we waited 30 odd minutes for the boat. Martin was lucky not to have to explain 50 times the public transport system in Prague. Just to me only. Bearing in mind I am a semi disabled elderly lady on my own already wishing I had not expected a 7 hour tour and instead booked a get abandoned in a zoo trip! Martin very carefully explained the two methods of transport back to the pick up point. I asked him to write it all down for me as pains was setting in again. We shared a jolly beer in the boat and a chat. Poor man - 1.5 hours but he was grateful for English practice. Martin was patient, kind and respectful of my hobbling and I was grateful for the short cut to the zoo. Once there we cheerfully parted with me clutching a map. Sadly I was unable to do the complete zoo as anxiety was creeping in over the duration of my lone journey back to where I had arranged assistance from pick up point to my hotel over the other side of the city. Once there the animals were happily living their best lives with many young and the grounds were beautiful. The chair lift was scary but only transport up the considerable hill! However the staff did help me jump on and off with my stick!! Unlike on the high up tram and bus home. Zoo was worth a visit with plentiful free clean rest rooms. So this is not the tour, if you are a bit infirm or a bit confused!! I did find a lady who could say “next” to me as in a busy bus I was unable to see bus route. For those still interested, tram 17 from Karlovy Lázně ( Charles bridge) to Trojska then. Bus 112 ( same bus stop) to the zoo where it turns around so easy!! Cheers Martin . Transport free for over 65s so they did not even have to pay for that! Great guide not great “tour”.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed and honest feedback. We’re sorry the tour format and duration did not match your expectations, especially given the challenges you experienced with mobility and returning from the zoo. We’re glad Martin was patient, kind, and helpful throughout your time together, and that you enjoyed the zoo itself. We’ll share your comments about the tour description and organization with our team. Fun in Prague team

Fun zoo trip
I have two kids under ten. Despite the crowds, we were able to easily find our guide, Vojta. After a quick walk to the boat, we took a nice ride down the river. Vojta got us drinks and shared some interesting facts along the way. After another scenic walk, we got to the zoo easily. Vojta gave us instructions for getting home, then we said our goodbyes and explored the zoo. This tour went as expected, and I don’t have any complaints.
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed it! Fun in Prague team

Poor experience.
My girl friend loves boats and zoos. Thought this might be a great idea, what a mistake. Went to to the Riverside a day early tried to book tickets, got told to come back tomorrow. Tried 3 times. Don't waste your money, our hotel booked a more reliable taxi.
Response from the operator: Hello, I am little confused by your review and the way you describe the situation. Fun in Prague Team

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vltava River Boat Trip and Zoo Entrance Ticket in Prague start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
