Since this place is one of the richest fishing areas in the southern hemisphere it means travelers are spoiled for choice as they have lunch. The restaurants here are known to dish out the best and freshest seafood in the world.

Bredasdorp is also home to the Shipwreck Museum which details stories of 150 wrecks along the Agulhas Reef This is the only museum of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Cape Agulhas Lighthouse
This historic lighthouse is situated at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. Being the second oldest still operating it was the third oldest to be built. Visit this lighthouse located on the southern edge of the village of L'Agulhas in the Agulhas National Park. It is an outstanding structure with a round tower, 27 metres high and painted red with a white band. There is also a museum attached to it which provides a lot of interesting information and history of this iconic place.
