Day trip to Shipwreck Beach Zante

We wanted to do a trip to break our week up in Zante. I saw this trip advertised on trip advisor. I will start off with a minor gripe, but in fairness, the text does say the cost of the boat trip is not included and this is an additional cost. It could be clearer but that is my only slight gripe. Everything else was positive. The pick up was on time and picked us up at the entrance to our hotel We were taken to zante town to pick up the last 2 customers then taken to a high viewing area to get pictures over the town On route to the boat we were taken to 2 stunning beaches with swimming opportunities and options for drinks and food (not included in price) We then went to the boat We got a small boat (11 in group) That was great for getting into the caves later and our skipper Matius? was great. Very knowledgeable and good sense of humour You can’t swim or get onto the beach at Shipwreck beach but it’s stunning The water is crystal clear and we had a good time there for photos and videos The caves were stunning and we went inside a good few 2 more swimming opportunities with masks and snorkels on the boat The boat trip was amazing We then went to a nearby restaurant for lunch (at own cost) The food was great! Then off to the viewing area above shipwreck beach Stunning views! We then went to a village with a 2000 year old olive tree Teo, our guide was great Again we were dropped in front of our hotel at the end of the trip We were away about 10 hours 100% recommend this trip Not cheap but worth every penny Sorry for the slightly negative start 😂

    7 hours no water

Sent my parents on this trip to celebrate a 50th birthday. This would have been a 5 star review however listed in the included was bottled water. However my parents did not receive any water until 3pm from 8:30am. 7 hours in the heat! Subsequently my mother has had cramp in her calf since. Due to water being included in the package my parents didn’t take any fluids and went without for so long.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, and we are very sorry to hear that your parents experienced discomfort during their day with us. We are especially pleased that, apart from this issue, you felt the tour deserved a 5-star experience. We would like to clarify that bottled water is available on our minibuses and is provided to guests upon request. Our staff are always available to assist guests, and the itinerary also includes stops where guests can purchase drinks and refreshments, as well as a lunch stop. The overall excursion lasts approximately 7–9 hours, but guests are not continuously travelling on the minibus for that entire period. We always encourage our guests to let our driver or guide know if they need water, refreshments, or any assistance during the day. We understand your concern and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will also remind our team to proactively offer water to guests, particularly during the warmer months, to help ensure everyone remains comfortable throughout the excursion.

VIP full day tour to Shipwreck, blue caves and top view - an amazing day seeing the beautiful areas of Zakynthos

VIP full day tour to Shipwreck, blue caves and top view - an amazing experience seeing the beautiful parts of Zakynthos with a fantastic guide, Spiros. He was knowledgeable, fun, entertaining and our daughter enjoyed being his ‘assistant guide’. He took us to the best photo spots and even helped take great photos for us. The small group size allowed us to experience Zakynthos at a more relaxed pace and was more personalised. The drone footage was a definite highlight as the views from the sky were amazing and phenomenal. This VIP tour with Spiros was well worth it!! Thanks Spiros for an unforgettable day!!

VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zakynthos.

How much does VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zakynthos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zakynthos is not rushed.

Is VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 175 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zakynthos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view?

    +

Around 61 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zakynthos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zakynthos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does VIP Full Day Tour Shipwreck Blue Caves and top view start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zakynthos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zakynthos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zakynthos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ceramic Making Experience in Zakynthos, Half-Day Greek Cooking Class of Zakynthian Culture with Lunch, Zakynthos Turtle Tour Small Group Turtle Spotting & Turtle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zakynthos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zakynthos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
