A unique experience that is really one of a kind
This tour has been memorable and is my favorite activity I was able to take part of during my trip in Porto. My tour focused on two wineries, the Anselmo Mendes and Soalheiro wineries which were both amazing to learn the history of. There isn’t many tourists in the areas we visited so if you’re interested in a more private experience at a vineyard, I highly recommend this tour. Emanuel was an outstanding tour guide. I really enjoyed learning the history of the areas we toured. He was very knowledgeable and due to this, I was able to learn so much about wine and history.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing review! 😊🍷 We are truly honoured to know that this was your favourite activity during your trip to Porto. Creating authentic and memorable experiences is exactly what we strive for, so your words mean a great deal to us. We're delighted that you enjoyed visiting Anselmo Mendes and Soalheiro, and that you appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the Vinho Verde region. Thank you as well for your wonderful comments about Emanuel. His passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing the history and culture of the region are what make each tour so special, and we're sure he will be delighted to read your kind words. Thank you once again for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back to Portugal soon for another unforgettable experience with Planeta Pautado. ❤️🇵🇹

Tour didn't happen, canceled twice
Never got to do the tour, which was rescheduled then canceled the evening before at 6 pm for a tour starting at 8:30 am the next day. No explanation given, no call to help finding something else. It obviously doesn't represent the quality of the tour, but the poor management of the operator.

Five Stars! Amazing Day in the Vinho Verde Region
I’m so glad I chose this tour. From the moment Nuno reached out to confirm everything and ensure we found the meeting point easily, he set the tone for a fantastic day. The two wineries we visited were excellent and offered different perspectives on Vinho Verde, which made the experience feel well-rounded. At each stop, we tasted a range of wines and learned about the traditions that make this region unique. Lunch was a highlight — a delicious regional meal that felt like a true taste of local culture. Every stop felt intentional, and the pacing of the day was perfect. What really made the tour special was Nuno’s mix of professionalism, friendliness, and genuine passion for the area. It felt personal in the best way — not rushed or generic, just a wonderfully curated experience. If you’re visiting Porto and want to explore the Vinho Verde region with great wine, great food, and an exceptional guide, this is the tour to book.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible feedback! 🌿 We’re thrilled that you enjoyed discovering the Vinho Verde region with Nuno — his passion for sharing authentic local experiences truly shines through. It’s wonderful to hear you appreciated the balance between learning, tasting, and relaxing moments. Knowing that each stop felt intentional and personal means a lot to us. We couldn’t be happier that this day became such a memorable part of your trip! 🍷✨ Kind regards,

The Vindo Verde did not disappoint.
What a beautiful tour of the vino berde region. Our driver Fábio was attentive and informative. The transportation was comfortable and clean. The 2 vineyards visited added produced quality wants with we purchased quite a few bottles. Would tour the area again for sure.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! It’s always a pleasure to hear when our guests leave with great memories and a few bottles of excellent wine to enjoy later. The Vinho Verde region truly has a charm of its own, and we’re thrilled you got to experience it with us. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again for more adventures in Portugal’s beautiful wine regions. Until next time, cheers! 🍷✨

Awesome wine tour to Vinho Verde wine region
Fabio was an awesome guide. He is very knowledgeable, but more importantly, he treats his clients like family and truly wants to give everyone a great experience. The wine at each of the wineries was very good, as were the guides at each. The lunch was amazing with so much food and lots of different Portuguese foods to try. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great wine experience in Portugal.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Helen, for your review. All our work is only worthwhile if all our guests have memorable experiences, and we are happy to know that our experience met your expectations. We will continue to work hard to provide memorable experiences like yours. Best regards.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vinho Verde Experience with 2 Wineries and Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
