Mexican Winery Trip
The wine trip was very good and we went to two good wineries where there were two very good guides. I do have two complaints. First, the trip was advertised as being with a guide. We did not have a guide, we had a driver who spoke very little English. So for the two hours in the car, instead of having a guide tell us about the Mexican wine scene, we had silence. In addition, the tour was advertised as including lunch. While we had some cheese and charcuterie at each winery, we did not have what we considered a lunch. The two wineries were great, the guides at the wineries were excellent and we learned a lot
Response from the operator: Hello Michael. First, thank you so much for your review. Because of the great guides that work with us on each winery, we have agreed that a third extra guide obstructs more than helps, so during the transportation you are assisted by a private driver. We will work on improving our driver's english in order to be more communicative. As for the lunch, on the description we offer a cheese and charcuterie board for each person at each winery, we do not offer or include lunch and I apologize for any misunderstanding that this may have caused. We will work to improve our service to offer you a better experience next time you visit us!

Mexican countryside
A wonderful experience. We visited two wineries. One was immaculate and beautiful as if you were in the rolling hills of Italy. We had great pairing and a wonderful host Ever. The other was a more rustic Mexican wine, which had so much charm and so very different from the first one. Both were unique and an excellent experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We expect you back in Mexico to show you more amazing places!

Great Chance to Try New Wines
Great day learning about Mexican varietals and wines that are not available in other countries. The tasting and food pairing experience at La Santisima Trinidad was exceptional and Eber was extremely knowledgeable.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We expect you back in Mexico to show you more amazing places!

Too expensive for the experience
We were charged 300 USD to visit two wineries. The San Lucas winery was ok but too short. The second winery did not give us any food, the wine was not good and the visit was pretty short as well.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments! We take you to two different wineries from each other. One really exclusive, the other one an organic family owned vineyard. On both wineries, they tour you around the facilities and you try three different wine on each. We usually stay for about hour and a half to two hours on each vineyard, Making a 5 hour tour. This is a tour to visit local wineries, which elaborate pretty good wine (not the best for some, but for some others really great!).

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Miguel de Allende.
How much does Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel cost?
+
Prices start at $345 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Miguel de Allende usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Miguel de Allende is not rushed.
Is Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Miguel de Allende, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Miguel de Allende can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Miguel de Allende and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Pairing in San Miguel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Miguel de Allende within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Miguel de Allende?
+
On Outty we rank every San Miguel de Allende experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tacos and Tequila Walking Tour with Taste of Miguel, Half Day Excursion - Horseback Riding Adventure in SMA, Historical and Cultural Walking Tour of San Miguel de Allende. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Miguel de Allende?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Miguel de Allende?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
