Vilnius becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you. The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Vilnius Cathedral, St. Catherine's Church, St. Nicholas Church and Vilnius University. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Vilnius.

Elementary, My Dear Disappointment🕵🏽♂️
A wonderful concept! But instead of a mystery, we had to "find a goose among this ocean of ducks"🥴 No true murder mystery. Cheap riddles. Just 💩, Sherlock. Credit where it's due: Despite the app, Vilnius delivered. We surrendered to the fantastically stupid riddles and found instead some local beer🍻 Could recommend — the beer, that is! 🇱🇹
Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us. We're glad to hear Vilnius itself left a positive impression, but we're sorry the riddles didn't deliver the mystery experience you were expecting. Please know we take this seriously. We're reviewing your comments closely so we can improve the quality and depth of the puzzles for future players. A scavenger hunt should feel engaging and rewarding to solve, not frustrating, and it's clear we fell short here. We appreciate you taking the time to complete the experience despite this, and we'd welcome the opportunity to show you a stronger version of the game in the future. Thank you again for helping us improve.

Fun Game to play
Great way to explore the city and nice to run around in cold weather. Different way to play with family.
Response from the operator: Hi Kevin, Thanks for your great review! Much better than watching tv from your house right?! Enjoy your next adventure!

What a great idea!
The idea is absolutely brilliant, but unfortunately the app is not great and should be improved to make the experience better (the app is not very responsive and slightly poorly designed) and to make it clearer what the touristic outcome is. All in all, great idea, poor outcome.
Response from the operator: Hi I am sorry to hear you experience struggles with our application! I would like to hear more about your experience, could you email me at Hello@citygame.com? #Enjoyyournextadventure!

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vilnius?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
