Fantastic Boat Tour and Guide!
This was our third boat tour during our two-week trip to Italy, and Luca was by far the best guide we experienced. The boat itself was particularly charming and comfortably accommodated all six of us with plenty of room to relax. Luca's deep knowledge of Lake Como, its historic towns, and the surrounding sights gave us a wonderful appreciation for the area. He timed the tour perfectly—taking his time navigating the water so we could soak it all in, without the experience ever feeling dull. He was also incredibly accommodating with photos, guiding us to several spectacular scenic spots to capture the perfect memories. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Jay, thank you so much for such a wonderful review! It is truly an honor to hear that our trip was the highlight of your boating experiences in Italy. I am thrilled that your group enjoyed the space and comfort of the boat, as well as the relaxed pace of our journey together. Sharing the rich history and beautiful sights of Lake Como is my absolute passion, and I am so glad we could capture some perfect photos of you all at those scenic spots. Thank you again for highly recommending Blue Royal Charter, and I hope to welcome you back on board the next time you visit Italy!

Simply the best !
We had an unforgettable experience with Blue Royal Charter on Lake Como! From the moment we got on the boat, we were welcomed with champagne and light bites while enjoying the most beautiful views. They took us to a quiet bay for a swim and then showed us the famous villas and landmarks, sharing so much history and local knowledge along the way. What makes this even more special is that it’s a family-run business. Luca manages everything, and our tour was given by his father and youngest son, who have lived their whole lives on the lake. You can feel their love and passion for the area in every detail. They even dropped us off at a restaurant afterwards, which ended up being our favorite meal of the trip. Everything was seamless, personal, and truly one of the highlights of our time in Lake Como. I can’t recommend Blue Royal Charter enough — absolutely 5 stars!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled you had such a special time with us. Sharing our lake and its stories as a family is what we love most, and we're so glad it came through. Hope to welcome you back again soon! Luca & the Blue Royal Charter family

Extraordinary lake tour like in a typical lake boat
The experience of the boat ride was extraordinary, Luca was all the time in contact with us to tell us the pickup point, which was in the indicated place and time very punctual, the boat is very nice, very comfortable and typical of the lake of Como, the variety in the drinks on board and the accompanying foods were excellent, the best was the friendly and pleasant of our guide Giorgio who all the time was talking to us the story of each town and villas of the tour.
Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por tus palabras tan bonitas!

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H cost?
+
Prices start at $829 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Villas Private Boat Tour Wooden Classic Boat 2H start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
