Our tour guide Tim did...

Our tour guide Tim did his job well, a good driver and a knowledgeable guide. Thank you Tim. Our lunch was so disappointing, we have never joined a premium tour with such a poor small lunch, one thin small piece of battered fish, 5 to 6 in long, thin like a fish finger and some chips, all not of good quality. Also, we have to pay for our own drink. The meal does not reflect the price we paid for this tour at all. We had lunch at just after 12pm, a wine tasting arranged in the afternoon, so we did not get any food until we got back to our hotel after 5ish. We had to go out for an early dinner. Would not recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I’m pleased to hear that you found Tim to be a knowledgeable guide and a safe, capable driver. Tim said you had an excellent day and he was able to personalise it for you, which is fabulous. I’m sorry that the lunch did not meet your expectations. The included lunch on this itinerary is a selection from 7 meals and is intended to be a casual lunch in Victor Harbor, however I appreciate that you felt the portion and quality on the day were disappointing. Drinks are not included with the lunch, but water is provided. The afternoon wine tasting is a tasting experience rather than an additional food stop, so no further meal is scheduled after lunch. I appreciate you raising your concerns, and we will take your feedback into consideration when reviewing the lunch arrangements for this tour. Thank you again for travelling with Discover Adelaide Tours, and I’m sorry that this part of the day detracted from your overall experience.

A Great Day Out

We had such an enjoyable day with Liz as our guide journeying out from Adelaide, through the Clare Valley and onto Victor Harbour in an extremely comfortable vehicle. The experience felt more like spending the day with a very knowledgeable friend rather than being on a formal guided tour. If we ever wanted to explore other areas in SA, Liz would definitely be our first choice and as very experienced tourists, we highly recommend Discover Adelaide Tours as a first-choice consideration.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was such a pleasure spending the day with you and showing you Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and the d’Arenberg Cube. I am especially delighted that the tour felt relaxed and personal, like exploring South Australia with a knowledgeable friend. Your kind recommendation means a great deal, particularly coming from such experienced travellers! I would love to show you more of South Australia in the future!!!

Superb Tour

We had a very enjoyable tour. The weather on the day was very changeable, but this did not deter from the day as Liz was very knowledgeable and helpful to our needs. Time spent at each attraction was excellent as we never felt rushed. Visiting the d'Arenberg Cube should not be missed.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m so glad you had an enjoyable day on the Victor Harbor tour, even with the changeable weather. It was a pleasure showing you around and making sure the day still felt relaxed and comfortable. I’m also very happy to hear you had plenty of time at each stop and enjoyed the d’Arenberg Cube. It really is such a memorable place to visit!

Awesome Tour to Victor Harbor

I had such a lovely small group day tour with Liz to Victor Harbor and d'Arenberg in the very new and comfortable Kia. Great communication from Liz prior to the trip. Coastal scenery with stops along the way. Plenty of time for lunch at Victor Harbor, a walk along the jetty, and shopping. Have recommended Discover Adelaide Tours to my Travel Agent.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review. I’m so pleased you enjoyed your small-group day tour to Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg, and that the new Kia made the journey comfortable. It was a pleasure sharing the coastal scenery with you, and I’m glad you had plenty of time to enjoy Victor Harbor at a relaxed pace, from lunch and the jetty walk to a little shopping. Thank you also for recommending Discover Adelaide Tours to your travel agent. That really means a lot and is very much appreciated.

A very relaxed tour with...

A very relaxed tour with plenty of time to explore on your own, which is exactly what I was after. Liz was a wonderful guide, never rushed us and provided engaging commentary throughout. Even before the tour began, she was quick to answer any queries and was helpful. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words about this Victor Harbor tour! I’m really glad the relaxed pace and free time suited what you were looking for, that’s exactly the experience I aim to create. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I truly appreciate your recommendation.

Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.

How much does Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.

Is Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Victor Harbor and d’Arenberg Cube Small Group Premium Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Adelaide?

+

On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Adelaide?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Adelaide?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
