    Book this now! If you’re...

Book this now! If you’re looking for something new and challenging to do, this is it! Our guide was Franz and he was great! He took his time to explain things thoroughly and made sure we were safe the entire time. The views of course were phenomenal! Make sure to take enough water and a light layer to help with the sun and potential scrapes. 😅. My husband and I would for sure do this again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for such an enthusiastic recommendation! It’s wonderful to know Franz’s thoughtful guidance and attention to safety gave you and your husband the confidence to embrace the challenge and enjoy the adventure. Pairing that sense of accomplishment with the mountain scenery makes for a pretty unforgettable day, and we’d be delighted to have you both join us for another round!

    Top of the world life

We are first-timers to this experience and really enjoyed our time. The tour was done privately (done by booking), they were eager to have us do this experience via multiple contacts to ensure our arrival. When we arrived, we were met with a smile and equipment to prepare us the best way. Alex our guide, was phenomenal, patient, and had experience to put us at ease. Alex ensured we were having the experience we wanted and we definitely did! Loved this experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback about your first experience with us! We’re especially happy to hear that Alex’s patience, expertise, and personal attention helped everyone feel comfortable and made the adventure your own. From the warm welcome to the care throughout your private tour, it’s wonderful to know our team helped create such a memorable day. We truly appreciate you choosing JHMR for this experience!

    Don’t miss the Corbet’s route!

This was easily one of my favorite experiences in Jackson. We had Giles as our guide for the Corbet’s route. Giles kept us safe and the mood light cracking jokes and dispensing life advice throughout the day. He took us on a warmup climb to gauge our confidence and improve our technique. He taught us how to clip and how to step confidently on the rock. Once we moved to Corbet’s we were feeling good and could enjoy the routes. These routes are very exhilarating with some exposed sections and sky bridges. The views of the valley are amazing. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the incredible review! We're thrilled to hear the Corbet's route was one of your favorite Jackson Hole experiences. We're so glad Giles helped your group feel safe, confident, and excited throughout the adventure. We'll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thanks for recommending us, and we hope to see you back for another unforgettable experience!

Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Grand Teton National Park.

How much does Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort cost?

    +

Prices start at $310 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Grand Teton National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Grand Teton National Park is not rushed.

Is Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 71 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Grand Teton National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort?

    +

Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Grand Teton National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Grand Teton National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Via Ferrata Adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Grand Teton National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Grand Teton tours run sunrise wildlife safaris for moose and bears, Snake River float trips, Jenny Lake shuttles and hikes, and combined Yellowstone and Teton loops. On Outty we rank every Grand Teton National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yellowstone Lower Loop Full-Day Tour, Yellowstone National Park - Full-Day Lower Loop Tour from Jackson, Grand Teton Half Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Grand Teton National Park?

    +

June to September, with wildlife most active at dawn and dusk. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Grand Teton National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
