August Verdon Gorge
This tour was a good time. I was looking for a tour where we got to spend time at the lake and on this tour we stopped for about 1.5hrs. We also stopped at a few overlooks of the gorge and some other small villages along the way for about 30 mins to an hour. The only unfortunate thing on this trip was that the gorge was very busy the day we were there and we weren’t able to rent a boat or kayak with only being there for 1.5hrs. However, we just swam in the lake and enjoyed the gorge as best as we could. Also, with only stopping 30mins to and hour in the villages, you will not be able to see everything so enjoy what you can. Francis was our tour guide. He was very nice, a good driver, and made sure we were having a good time!

Very nice tour
Very nice tour. Stephane is an incredible guide: he speaks good english, he's funny and he does everything to make your day feel good. The tour stops are Saut du Loup, Castellane, Route des Cretes, Moustiers (30min approx for each) and lake Saint Croix (1h15min). I would suggest to the organizers to shorten a little bit the time at Saut du Loup and Route des Cretes, to stay a little longer at the lake (this is my personal preference). Anyway in general the tour is well organized, I would suggest it.

An unforgettable day exploring the Verdon Gorge and Provence
We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring some of the most beautiful parts of Provence. From the stunning Saut du Loup waterfalls and the charming village of Castellane to the breathtaking views of the Verdon Gorge, every stop was well chosen and perfectly timed. The lavender fields and the crystal-clear waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix were the perfect way to end the day. A special thank you to our guide, Ruben, who truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Knowing the lavender season was coming to an end, he made every effort to ensure we were still able to see the last of the blooming lavender fields. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the day incredibly special. Ruben was friendly, knowledgeable, organised and genuinely passionate about the region. He shared fascinating insights throughout the journey, kept everything running seamlessly and made everyone feel welcome. One of the special highlights of the trip was meeting such a wonderful group of like-minded people on the tour. We shared so many laughs along the way, and by the end of the day we had become great friends. We even hope to meet up again in the future, which says so much about the atmosphere Ruben created and the experience as a whole. The tour was well paced, comfortable and offered a wonderful mix of spectacular scenery, charming villages and authentic local experiences. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nice—it’s a fantastic way to experience the beauty of Provence.

Beautiful trip to Verdon Gorge, waterfalls and other villages
We enjoyed this excursion. Our guide Stephané was very knowledgeable and a good safe driver. We loved all the stops to see beautiful views of the lake and our visit to different villages. We went on the tour with 5 other people making it a total of 7 and we fit comfortably in the car. It’s a jam packed day and you hit many locations. The only thing we wished was to stay at the lake a bit longer. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful sights outside of the French Riviera during your stay.

Get to know Nice from a local
Ruben was such a fun and knowledgeable tour guide! He got us to each spot quickly, and used the drive as an opportunity to tell us all about Nice history from a born and raised local’s perspective. He also gave an excellent list of non-tourist trap restaurant recos to use during our stay.
