Murano Glass tour and 2 hour walking tour
Lucia was fantastic and really helped make our time in Venice special. From the first time we contacted her, she was incredibly helpful and responsive. We told her we wanted to experience Venice beyond just the usual tourist attractions, and she really listened to what we were looking for. One of the things she arranged for us was a private water taxi to Murano and a glass-blowing experience. It was such a cool experience to see the glass being made right in front of us. What made it even more memorable was that we actually ran into Lucia while we were there! That was such a fun surprise. Lucia also arranged for Roko to be our guide, and we couldn't have been happier with him. He was extremely knowledgeable about Venice and its history, but he was also funny, personable, and just made the whole experience enjoyable. We were still with him when I sent Lucia a picture because we were having such a great time. What I really appreciated about Lucia was that she didn't disappear after making the arrangements. She continued helping us with questions and recommendations while we were in Venice. Whenever we needed something or weren't sure about the best way to do something, she was willing to help. You can tell that Lucia really knows Venice and takes pride in helping people have a great experience here. She helped us find experiences that we probably wouldn't have found on our own, and she made everything much easier for us. If you're visiting Venice and want someone who will actually listen to what you want to do and help you experience the city in a more personal way, I would definitely recommend Lucia. We are very grateful for everything she did for us! Thank you, Lucia! ❤️

Amazing guide and tour
Lucia is an amazing guide and her tour exceeded my expectations. We saw things that we never would have seen on our own and learned so much about the history of Venice. Even my teenagers were engaged and entertained the entire time. Her food recommendations were very helpful as well.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local cost?
+
Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Venice Off the Beaten Path: Private Tour in Venice with a Local start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
