Highly recommended
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Gabriel was a great guide, very knowledgeable about ancient Egypt, sharing all the information I wanted and then even more. He was polite, professional, and waited for me patiently while I took my time roaming the tombs. If you want a comprehensive and professional tour in Luxor, look no further. Highly recommended.

He patiently answered all our questions and shared fascinating insights we would have otherwise missed. His expertise truly enriched our experience of this remarkable historical site. We are so grateful for his guidance and the wonderful memories created.

Once in a Lifetime Experience with Gabriel and the Pharohs
Booked this trip the night before with my Grandmother. The agency were incredibly accomodating and were more than able to squeeze us in on this once in a lifetime trip! Unlike other offers for the same experience, you must purchase your own entry, however this is incredibly straight forward and is completely worth the experience you will have. Our guide, Gabriel met us in our Hotel Lobby and made us feel incredibly welcome. Gabriel escorted us through both Valleys and his knowledge of egyptology was clearly second to none. No question was too small and he always went out of his way to point out and explain sites of interest. Be prepared to spend more than 5 hours at this activity as Gabriel will completely follow your lead and not limit you or your interest at all. He and his driver Michael were both such a pleasure to spend the day with and went out of their way to be helpful. Michael was incredibly kind in escorting myself and my grandmother personally on and off the bus, and Gabriel was (not to be punny) an angel. I happened to fall ill during the trip, and he was very compassionate in ensuring that I was okay and out of the sun. As Gabriel often said, we were his family, and that is what you should expect when spending the day with him. Both members of staff were a credit to the agency and anyone should feel lucky to be spending time in their company. Thank you Gabriel and Michael for an amazing day out!

Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.
How much does Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.
Is Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 144 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Valley of the Kings and Queens Guided Tour from Luxor with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Luxor?
+
On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Tour of Luxor West Bank Temples and Tombs (Private), Luxury Sunrise Balloon Ride in Luxor with Hotel Pickup, Luxor Day Tour: Valley of Kings & Queens & Hatchepsut Temples. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Luxor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Luxor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
