About this experience
Luis Salvador of Austria ordered the construction of a series of viewpoints both in the mountainous area and on the coast for his delight. We have joined some of those coastal viewpoints so that you can feel the fantastic postcard of the Valldemossa coast with the same admiration as the Archduke. This route is suitable for the average hiker, although some sections may be somewhat compromised and exposed to cliffs, your guide will facilitate the passage without problems. View the coast from different angles. In summer you can enjoy a swim in the beautiful port of s'Estaca During the route we will visit some viewpoints, the port of s'Estaca, the hermitage of the Trinity and the cave of Ramón Llull, a small but cozy cavity where this renowned philosopher spent long periods of time. The path presents slippery inclines and up to 500 meter vertical gain and 5 to 7 km depending on the route choosen.

Did not feel Safe!
We Didn’t feel safe with our guide Fernando & the whole experience seemed thrown together. The description was a little misleading, it states that “This hike is suitable for everyone”, but it is for an experienced hiker. The beautiful terrain varies from rough & rocky, to slippery, to very steep. We were expecting to be hiking in a group but it was only me & my daughter. Although it does state that transportation is not included, the description states that “Transfer pick up/drop off at your location is available upon request”. We did request transportation back before the hike…but, We were LEFT by the guide without a way back and our guide, Fernando, left two women alone at night in a strange town where we do not speak the language, at the local bus stop at 9:00pm, waiting for the last bus to arrive at 9:20pm. He wished us luck. For context, our hotel was located on the opposite side of the island, and we were unfamiliar with the Valledemossa area. Do not recommend. Rated a 2 because The hike itself, though very tough, was stunning.
Response from the operator: Hi Leah, sorry you did not enjoyed this hike. I must say I have taken people from 10 to 65 and they never had trouble. I do not remember you requesting a transfer but I do rememer all of us laughing the whole time.

Beautiful Hike with Fernando!
We were the first trip of the summer. A beautiful guide in the amazing surroundings of Valldemossa. Fernando obviously knew the trails well and told interesting stories along the way. One of the highlights of our week in Mallorca!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review, and apologies for the late reply.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca cost?
+
Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Valldemossa lookouts and S'Estaca start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
