    Luxurious, friendly, awe-inspiring

What an absolutely spectacular experience! Everyone on staff was so warm and welcoming. The ship was gorgeous, just enough old world charm and luxurious feel. There was lots to do but we never felt rushed. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time.

    Romantic cruise

First of all, efficient and fast hotel pick-up, pleasant and comfortable means of transport via limousine with smooth and careful driving, then luggage pick-up in the river shuttle and safe passenger transport, special warm Welcoming by the boat crew, we had the junior room with balneo tub and large private balcony, plus all the crew puts themselves at your little care with calm and smile. The meals are succulent and original but not forgetting the few European dishes, then the activities are very good but time is running out. A boat with 20 rooms and shuttle. I recommend without hesitation and will come back for 2 nights

Lovely boat & staff but overall disappointing

Arrived on board around 2oclock and buffet lunch was all laid out looking lovely but it must have been laid out at 8am as was stone cold! booked this after reading past reviews and was looking forward to amazing food We were picked up 30 minutes late which wasn't a problem but when we had to stop at a restaurant/shopping place everyone on the bus asked if we could skip it and were told that it was the law the driver must have a break (this seemed excessive after only 1 1/2hrs so I checked and they can drive for 10hrs continuously! We then had to stop there on the way back too We arrived at the harbour and despite being late, still had to wait around for a crazy amount of time. Eventually we were on the boat to take us to the big boat! Finally we got to go to our rooms which were lovely and the bEd's some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Then it was kayaking time followed by dinner so no time to chill at all. The food at dinner was presented really well but cold and not edible - cold raw prawns that we asked them to recook, inedible tasteless beef stew it went on!! Cooking lesson was a joke it was more of a listen to the guide talk nonsense (although he was nice) . Next morning we had to be out of our rooms by 9am and then ganging around waiting! Breakfast was more of the above. Daughter wanted to try the lovely bath with a view but no time! We were promised a party on top in the evening but that didn't happen Only saving grace were the staff especially Nick and rose and the extremely comfy beds! We have cruised here before with a different company and had free time to jump off the boat and have some fun no rushing and were served crabs, huge prawns beautiful Vietnamese food etc and all served hot & fresh and properly cooked. It was also cheaper than this one so I know it can be done!

    5 Stars - Excellent Value

Exceeded expectations. Value for money was brilliant, as was the quality of food, the activities and most of all the staff. Jimmy, Henry and the other staff went above and beyond at every opportunity.

V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star cost?

    +

Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does V Spirit Cruises Halong Bay 2 Days/1 Night 5 Star start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
