After Three Tours, I Finally Found the Best Agency/Guide
I can highly recommend Skyline Traveller! 😍 I had already done the 3d/2n tour twice with other agencies, but I was never completely satisfied. This time, everything was absolutely perfect. What really sets Skyline Traveller apart is that their guide is a real guide and not just a driver. Vladimir explained everything we saw along the way, making the experience both informative and engaging. The food was delicious, the organization and communication was excellent, and I felt safe throughout the entire trip. It was obvious that Skyline Traveller truly prioritizes the safety and comfort of its guests, which a lot of other agencies dont… Vladimir was simply outstanding. His professionalism, flexibility, knowledge, and genuine kindness made this tour amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing experience. Thanks to him

Great landscapes and wildlife with imperfect but still good tour operator
Our overall experience with this tour is very positive: the Salar de Uyuni and all the region and the wildlife in the southern part of Bolivia are great and stand out as highlights in our three month trip in South America. Also, the tour with Skyline Traveller had many positive aspects: good guide, satisfying meals and well planned itinerary. On the other hand, we had a slow and disorganized departure on the first day, a used vehicule and much-too-early start on the third day. These negative aspects are minor points considering the extreme beauty of the nature this tour allows you to see.

Last Minute Cancellation after paying for the Tour
I just had the worst experience ever. Today April 26th, 2026 - 10:15am Bolivian time. I arrived this morning to Uyuni with my 6 year old, we came to this compny due to the great rating and reviews they had. I tried to contact them 2 days ago, yesterday and today but no answer. When i came to the office, i booked a 3 day tour with private room. I made an upfront payment and went to buy all the things they asked me for. Once i came back at 10:09am, the girl from the office looked at me and say that they cancelles me reservation, at the very very last minute, i had Zero change to book another tour, since it was departure time. Seriously, a great company would do this? i made a video of this and i mentioned to her i would leave a bad review, she seemed careless and i was very very disappointed, sad... My daughter started crying as she realized what was happening. This is the Skyline Experience. I will post the videos so they cant deny what just happened. Be carefull with booking with this company, they dont care even if you pay in advance. Ps: after the incident i checked reviews to make sure this was a simple mistake, nope, they seem to do this often.

Definitely worth the trip
We did the Uyuni Salt Flats tour for 3D/2N ending in Atacama with an English speaking guide/driver. Positives: - The tour itself is very good, stopping in excellent spots. The best of which, is getting to the hot springs for sunrise on Day 3. Day 1 is overall excellent, utilising the other worldly salt flats. - The private room on the 2nd night was worth every penny — it made the experience so much better (especially for only 150 BOB per person). - The help with the border crossing was excellent. - The food was fine. - The pre tour communication and experience was top notch. Improvements: - The guide/driver is more of a driver than a guide. He was lovely, and driving was excellent. However, it sometimes felt like he was disinterested (especially day 1). I get this, as it is a lot for them given the long days of driving and providing food etc at lunchtimes, however it was a noticeable difference from guides we had in Peru. - Day 2 is a bit of a slog with some of the stops just seemingly there for the sake of it and to fill time. - The accommodation is super basic, and could be made better easily.

Breathtaking experience. Friendliest guides and drives. Super spots.
It is simply one of the best tours I've taken in my life. So complete, so many things to see, a super friendly and well-prepared team of guide and drivers. They go beyond to ensure we are happy, have the best photo spots and are overall satisfied. They helped us always taking us pictures (super nice when traveling solo!). Well balanced meals, tea and wine breaks too! Superb sunset and sunrise spots. Had so much fun and would do it all over again. Thank you so much to the team.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Uyuni.
How much does Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $449 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Uyuni usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Uyuni is not rushed.
Is Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Uyuni, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Uyuni can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Uyuni and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Uyuni Salt Flats (3 Days) English Speaking Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Uyuni within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Uyuni?
+
On Outty we rank every Uyuni experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3-Days Tour to the Uyuni Salt Flat and Colored Lagoons +Sunset+Mirror Effect, Uyuni Salt Flat 1 Day Tour +Sunset in the Salt Water Region with Mirror Effect, Salar de Uyuni Tour 1 day with Sunset. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Uyuni?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Uyuni?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
