Too much money, bad guide, not enough time

Beautiful, amazing canyon, but the guide for my tour is very inexperienced. We did not have enough to take pictures, she kept pushing everyone move forward for next group. We ended up finishing our tour early. For the amount of money we paid for this tour, we not recommended for anyone.

    Amazing Antelope Canyon

Amazing experience and beautiful to see in person. We had the best guide on the noon tour. The best!

    Amazing Upper Antelope

This a most amazing tour. The colors were beautiful and enchanting. Is it nicer than the Lower Antelope Canyon? I would rate it slightly better but at double the price, it’s really a hard decision. The walk inside is easy, mainly all flat compared to the Lower one which has steep stairs and narrow passageways. However do take note that on the way back to the vehicle (you don’t retrace back), there are long flights of stairs both up and down. So consider if you can do that. A must do and book in advance!

    Once in a lifetime experience

We actually toured Lower Antelope Canyon yesterday and thought there was no way to top it. Wrong. Rick, our tour guide, was phenomenal. His knowledge of the canyon and also photography made this such a great experience. He made sure everyone got some great shots, even taking some with each of our cameras. This experience is not to be missed.

Upper Antelope Canyon Tour from Page

I first want to thank Navaho Nation for the excellent training they give to their tour guides. We toured both canyons, Upper and Lower (a different company), and both were outstanding. Our guide on the Upper Canyon was very strict with mask enforcement but still took time showing everyone in our group how to take photos and understand the geology behind the incredible formations in the Canyon. These tours are a once in a lifetime opportunities that are well worth the money. We were practically spellbound the entire tour. Truly amazing!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your detailed feedback. The guides are professional and will try their best to help every visitors to enjoy their trips.

Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.

How much does Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page cost?

    +

Prices start at $159 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.

Is Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Upper Antelope Canyon Sightseeing Tour from Page start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Page?

    +

Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Page?

    +

March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Page?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
