About this experience
One of the most amazing sights you will ever see, Antelope Canyon is a natural slot canyon carved over time by water and wind to create a symphony of shapes, colors and shadows. Antelope Canyon is located southeast of the town of Page, AZ. You will meet at the office and be driven out to Antelope Canyon for the guided walking tour of Upper Antelope Canyon. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone. This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into the forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today. The scenery in Upper Antelope Canyon changes constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering light softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the dramatic canyon walls. The displays of color, light, and shadow will astound you.

Disappointing
The toll supposed to start at 10 o’clock but they required to be there at 45 minutes before for the check-in. You just go to the computer and sign something and understand why we have to be there 45 minutes and the centre is 20 minutes away from the canyon so they have to drive you there waste of time the actual walking is 20 minutes so even though it says 50 to 2 hours you wanted to get to do with the walks and driving and the actual canyon with 80 minutes and you miss the dim lights if you go at 10 o’clock even though they still have time to keep you there to see them at 11:15 but you leave before 11 everything is rushed you go with a group of people of 10 with other groups so they are like around 10 groups with you going at the same time. No time to take photos. Everything is rushed there’s no individual photos for the value of the Tour that you pay which is very expensive for 20 minutes is completely disappointing. It was disappointing to be rushed. It was disappointing to miss the dim lights. I would absolutely not recommend this Tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify a few details regarding your tour experience. The 45-minute check-in requirement is necessary to ensure all guests have sufficient time to complete required procedures, including waiver signing and ticket verification, so that tours can depart on schedule and all guests can enter the canyon smoothly. The information displayed on Viator may include multiple tour operators and different tour options. For the Upper Antelope Canyon tour you booked, the actual canyon experience is generally about 60 minutes. Therefore, including the check-in time, the total time is approximately 90 minutes, not 2 hours and 50 minutes. The longer duration refers to a different tour product. As stated in the booking information: “Important: We work with multiple tour operators. Your final check-in details and instructions will be sent within 3 days of your tour date, or earlier if available. If you have questions, click ‘Contact Tour Operator’ on the homepage. Please follow the final ticket information.” We are sorry for any misunderstanding and appreciate your feedback.

Disappointing
Just expect 20 minutes of drive from the centre of the meeting point to the actual Can and then the actual Can is 20 minutes walking you just get rushed through with the other groups so usually come with 10 cars with a lot of people you don’t get to see individual photos and take individual photos. It’s usually a good photos so you don’t have time to do these things. Everything is rushed and if you do 10 o’clock you don’t get to see the dim lights so completely disappointing
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your Hogan Upper Antelope Canyon Tour did not meet your expectations. We understand that having enough time to enjoy the canyon and take photos is important. As the tour follows a scheduled itinerary and group arrangements, the canyon may be busy at certain times, which can make the experience feel rushed. The lighting inside the canyon is also affected by the season and weather conditions. Unfortunately, the weather during your visit was not ideal, which may have impacted the lighting and overall experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and will share your comments with our local tour team as we continue to improve our services. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.
How much does Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+ cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+ take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.
Is Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+ worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 105 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+ suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+?
+
Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Upper Antelope Canyon Guided Tour Select Ticket - Ages 8+ start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Page?
+
Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Page?
+
March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Page?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
