Amazing Day Exploring with Guide Thy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We found Guide Thy through some Google and Facebook research and couldn't be happier with our experience! We spent a full day exploring on scooters, giving us the freedom to discover the area at our own pace. Thy picked us up from our hotel, and right away, we knew it would be an incredible day. He's not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. After grabbing breakfast during the drive, we started our adventure at the iconic Angkor Wat. Thy shared so much about the history and development of the temples over the centuries. Plus, he’s a fantastic photographer and knows all the best spots for photos! For lunch, Thy took us to a local spot where we enjoyed delicious food and refreshing cold drinks—a perfect break in the middle of the day. Next, we visited the Tonle Om Gate and the Bayon Temple. Thy explained how the temples were built back in the day, giving us a deeper appreciation for their beauty and significance. Our final stop was the famous Ta Prohm, where massive trees have reclaimed the ancient structures—a truly magical experience. To top it all off, when we returned to the hotel, Thy kindly wrote down some useful Khmer words for us. We couldn’t be happier to have met Thy and highly recommend taking a tour with him. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks to his expertise, kindness, and attention to detail. Thank you, Thy, for an incredible day!

Angkor Wat tour with a fantastic English speaking tour guide
We were met by the tour operator as our guide was running a few minutes late, right on our pick up time, this is not a reflection on the tour by no means. Once our Tuk Tuk driver D arrived we got going, first we went to the Angkor temple where we were taught all about the history surrounding the temple. We then went from there to the Bayon temple followed by the jungle temple. Overall this was a great day (albeit very hot day) I would certainly recommend this tour and D the tour guide was brilliant, he kept us in water as the day went on
Response from the operator: Dear Andrew, Greeting from Angkor Tour Tour! We are appreciated you for taking your value time to provide us with such detail feedback on Trip Advisor. The fact that you had mentioned that our tours were without doubt the best run tours that you have ever been on means a lot to us! The itinerary suited you perfectly, that is exactly what we want for you and our visitors. Otherwise, we will pass this comment to the guide (Mr.Dy) and the rest of the team as well and sure they will be happy. Last but not least, we would like to wish you and your families enjoy the four blessings of the Buddha: Longevity, Happiness, Good Health and Physical strength. We do hope to see you again soon in next trip in Cambodia. Best Regards, Mr.Pradpitt

Very good Value and consciousness guide
Our guide's English was acceptable and Mr Sythat took his time to explain the temples in detail. We learned a lot. We greatly preferred using a Tuk Tuk over the bus. We did one tour in a small bus and felt the Tuk was by far the best way to connect with the area. He knew the best places to take pictures and planned the route to minimize the number of tourists at the temples (i.e. did Angkor Wat later in the day). Mr Sythat worked hard the long days to make sure our trip was enjoyable.
Response from the operator: Dear lawrence, Warm greeting from Siem reap, Angkor wat, our team of Angkor Thom Tuk Tuk Driver-Day Tour and especially our tour guide Mr Sythat , they are very honor and valuable occasion to memorable and souvenir. We’re delighted to read that you had amazing time with us. Your review and recommends and rate us could mean you help us jobs and may good in the future life and keep going learn more. We trust you are well and please let us know when you plan to return or recommended to other friends so that we can personally assist you with you tour requirements. Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple cost?
+
Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ultimate Angkor Wat Sunrise, Bayon, Ta Prohm Temple start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
