Art in Uffizi in Florence
The museum is a must when you visit Florence. It is big so you need to plan what you’d like to see beforehand. Do your research on the best things to see in the museum and note the room numbers where these items are displayed. You follow a set route so you cannot go back if you’ve missed something. Museum is busy, so be prepared. You can take photos but flas and video is not allowed. I spent over 3 hours wondering through all the art works. You don’t need a guide so you can take you time appreciating the art. Fascinating!!!
Response from the operator: Good morning from CAF Tour & Travel! Dear Teresia, Thank you for your helpful review of the Uffizi Gallery. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and appreciated the opportunity to explore at your own pace. Your practical tips for future visitors are also very valuable. We hope to welcome you again in Florence. Warm regards, CAF Tour & Travel Staff

Shameful ripoff
Unfortunately the down load did not work and was a real ripoff as you would be better to purchase an English head phone than depending on a website diownload that did not work. Shamefull ripoff!!
Response from the operator: Dear Robert, we are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. As indicated in our instructions, we strongly recommend downloading the app before arriving at the meeting point. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi at the Uffizi Gallery is not always reliable and access may require an active internet connection. For this reason, our vouchers suggest downloading the app in advance so that, once at check-in, you only need to enter your login details and start the visit smoothly. Warm regards

Be prepared to ask...
Be prepared to ask questions if Italian is not your first language. It was not obvious where to go. To meet with the Viator person, she was not clearly identifiable and did not speak English. Luckily, the note of where to meet under the "statue" was perfect. Where to go next did not have the proper signage so we had to ask where to stand once we received our tickets. The museum was beautiful and very much worth it.
Response from the operator: Good Morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your experience and for noting both the beauty of the Uffizi and the challenges you encountered before entering. We’re glad the museum itself rewarded your efforts with its unforgettable masterpieces, and we hope to welcome you again for a smoother and even more enjoyable visit. Kind regards, Caf Tour & Travel

My friend and I did the...
My friend and I did the self-guided tour. There were so many beautiful pieces and such a rich history, seeing it all was overwhelming! While this was a great experience, we didn't get to fully enjoy it and learn everything about the artwork was because the link to guide app was broken :( It would've been nice to get the audio headset, but it wasn't offered to us. Not sure if we could have asked for one, but that would have been nice to know while we were there.
Response from the operator: Dear Alana, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We are truly happy to hear that you enjoyed the beauty and richness of the Uffizi Gallery, though we are very sorry to learn that your experience with the self-guided app did not fully meet your expectations. Please note that, as indicated both online and on the voucher, this activity requires guests to use their own mobile devices and headphones in order to access the audio guide. Unfortunately, headsets are not provided on-site, which is why we encourage travelers to bring their own for the best experience. We hope to welcome you again in the future, Kind regards,

No WiFi
There is no WiFi in the gallery so I was not able to even use the App to follow the self guided tour, disappointing.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that you were unable to use the app during your visit due to the lack of WiFi at the gallery. As noted on our Viator page and in the vouchers provided, we recommend downloading the app in advance of your visit to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience. We understand how frustrating it must have been not to access the self-guided tour as planned, and we genuinely regret the inconvenience this caused. Warm regards,

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Uffizi Gallery: Self-guided App Visit & Optional Accademia Museum start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
