Reschedules or cancels your tour if they have other customers cancel
This tour operator appeared poorly run (but they do have at least one good guide). If you’re not flexible on timing and care about group size being small I would look elsewhere. They will cancel tours or move tours based on other customers cancelations. I had booked a 9:30 am small group tour in advance and got a text the day before moving our time slot to 10. I texted back that we booked that time specifically for our schedule as we had afternoon plans and that if 9:30 doesnt work could we do 9 and they simply said unfortunately no. They offered no alternative or refund only just the night before my morning tour that my only option was to show up for the 10 tour. We rearranged our schedule and showed up for the 10 tour and it was chaos. There were at least 30 people standing around in the small shop waiting to go out. They then broke us up into 2 groups. We had booked this also because of the “small group” of 10-15 but they then put 17 in our group. Then 2 of the people were shifted off after acadamie so it looks like they were just shifting people around for the timed entries for the tickets but then shifting back to stay within the maximums of the listing. The tour guide herself was actually very good so this isnt a review on their performance. This is a review of Florence and Global Small Group Tours the operator who made our experience subpar, messed up the schedule for our subsequent tours with less than 24 hours notice and offered no remediation or alternatives. Hopefully future travelers like me that don’t have flexibility with their schedules and are booking a tour expecting the operator to honor what was purchased can become aware that with your company other customers canceling can impact their booking and they cant depend on your company to always honor what was booked.

Uffizi tour
Silvia was incredible! So knowledgeable about all the pieces in the Uffizi and Florence history. She was well paced and gave us enough time to look around and see what she was explaining. She spoke clearly and answered any and all questions we had. I really enjoyed having a guide from Florence show us around and I would definitely book again to have Silvia as my guide.

Ok
It was an interesting tour but it was extremely difficult to find the meeting place. It certainly didn’t help that thy moved up the meeting time while we were on the train to Florence. We couldn’t adjust our time. But they did wait for us which was appreciated
