Rude guides
The staff was very rude and highly unaccomodating. There are many companies in rovaniemi where the guides are extremely friendly and helpful . We were actually getting scared to go as they were extremely rude . Please this tour is an available with many tour operators with much better guides !

A thrilling experience
Wow this was an awesome experience thanks to our guide im sure his name was Elias. We were a family of 7 with one child among the party who had a fab time in the sled being driven by our guide. We had booked the two hour experience and after marking sure we were all kitted up we walked to the snow mobiles, given our health and safety briefing and how to drive them and on we got and off we went. Through snowy forests for what seemed like hours we eventually arrived on a frozen lake and stopped for a rest break on the lake, a truly amazing experience to stand out on the middle of a frozen lake and wow it was cold. Our guide checked we were all ok and we could swap drivers at this point if we wanted to and we did so i had a go. They are fabulous to drive racing across a frozen lake back through forests and under some tunnels into more deeper snow forests until we stopped again for another rest and a chat to make sure we were all ok. We had taken the afternoon tour and the sun started to set while we were in this opening in the forest a beautiful sight to see for sure. We swapped drivers again and off we went again through windy bumpy trails giving a different experience again, until we did another quick stop to check we were all ok to carry on till the end. By this time the sun had set and we made our way back through more windy trails until we reached a fairly straight but bumpy track to pick up a little bit more speed again which was awesome. Back under more tunnels and back to the park to finish. Elias took us back to de robe and to check we were all ok. This was an amazing experience made so much better for the small size of our group and the attentiveness and caring nature of our guide who wanted us all to have an amazing experience. Thank you we did and would certainly go back with them again if we visit here in the future.

Do not recommend
Horrible treatment! Yelling, shouting, cursing at us! Needed medical care and they didn't even consider to ask what is happening!!! I do not recommend at all!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Christine M, We are deeply sorry your time with us didn’t go as expected. We give great importance to the safety of our customers and staff. Before each snowmobile safari, our guides give precise and major safety rules, such as staying behind the guide at a descent speed, not overtaking and staying on the marked path. No one wants to have an accident during their holidays. It appears some members of your group have been warned 3 times to be more careful. As the situation was becoming dangerous, our guides took the safe decision to interrupt the safari. We apologies their concern for your safety came across that way, they were not trying to be rude or hostile, simply to avoid any accident. Again for safety reasons, the whole group had to stop as it would have been too risky to split the group. Our guides waited with you for our rescue team. Back at the office we offered to call an ambulance or take you to the hospital. Our team has looked into the matter and discussed with your tour company offline. We truly hope the difficult situation has been understood by both sides, taking into consideration both point of views. If you have any further questions, please call Minna at +358 40 619 6889 or write to minna@snowmobilepark.com

So bad
Very disappointed by the staff treatment with us, they cursed a bad words on us because 2 mistakes was made by 2 inexperienced people out of 16 prople in the group, they yelled at us and cursed us and treated us as a prisoners, they didn't agree to make us keep going and left us 1 hour in the freezing lake which led to cold injures and illness

Fun + Adrenaline = Happy Customers😁!
Having used this company on 3 previous visits to Rovaniemi, its about time I wrote a review. Tina has always been courteous and helpful with enquiries, the service they have provided has been consistently very good and with the amount of companies vying for business, the prices are competitive. On this occasion it was 3 couples, all but 1 person had previous experience of Snowmobiling and once suited up and a comprehensive brief, we were soon on our way with our Polish guide “Ark”. Our route through the forest eventually (as it does!) took us to a frozen lake where we swapped drivers to let the wives have a go. By this time, our inexperienced driver was protesting in some rather colourful language that she didn’t like it and what’s more, didn’t want to drive. Ark, who I am sure, has heard all this sort of thing before, re-assured her that it really was quite easy and that she should take this opportunity to at least have a go, or maybe live to regret her decision later. She tried it and it will come as no surprise to hear that she absolutely loved it! When the hubbies were finally given the front seats back, Ark allowed us where appropriate, some exhilarating but sensible straight line speed which made this Safari not only a memorable experience but most enjoyable one too! “Kiitos” Ark😁

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.
How much does Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.
Is Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Two hours Snowmobile Safari Driving into Lappish Forests start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?
+
On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
