Incredible experience
So worth it!! Jason, our guide, went over and above what we expected. We didnt manage to get tickets for Machu picchu at first so we had to change all our plans to accomodate that which Jason and his team did. The information and history he shared throughout was incredible. Would really recommend it to anyone!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your experience was so worthwhile and that Jason and our team were able to help when your Machu Picchu plans had to change unexpectedly. We understand how stressful it can be when tickets aren’t available, so we’re especially happy that we could reorganize the arrangements and make sure you still had an amazing experience. It’s also fantastic to know that you enjoyed the history and information Jason shared throughout the journey. Thank you for recognizing Jason’s dedication and for recommending us to other travelers. It was a pleasure being part of your Peru adventure, and we hope to welcome you back again someday! 🇵🇪✨

Awesome, memorable and safe
Our experience at Machu Picchu was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. His explanations were clear, engaging, and full of fascinating historical and cultural insights that truly brought the site to life. What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we understood and appreciated everything we were seeing. He was patient with questions, attentive to the group’s pace, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable. On top of that, he made us feel completely safe throughout the entire journey. Traveling in a new place can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with him, we felt relaxed and well taken care of at all times. If you’re planning a visit to Machu Picchu, I highly recommend choosing a guide like him. He turned what would have been just a beautiful visit into a deeply meaningful and memorable experience.

THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!
Jason was the absolute best tour guide we've ever had! The hike in Machu Picchu was challenging - and Jason did such a great job catering to everyone in the group - taking enough breaks to ensure that the slower individuals had time to catch up, and while the quicker individuals waited, Jason shared so many stories of the history of the Inca as well as his personal experiences and travels. During the second day of our trip we had the opportunity to explore the ruins. Jason was super knowledgeable and passionate in sharing the history of Machu Picchu - we learned so much! He picked out all of the best restaurants for us to eat at and I felt like he was a part of the friend group by the time the trip ended. Jason - if you're reading this: I hope to see you tomorrow If I don't see you tomorrow I hope to see you the next day And if I don't see you the next day, I hope to see you in the next life Shout out Sexy Llamas
Response from the operator: ¡Thank you so much for your incredible review! We're thrilled to hear how Jason made your Machu Picchu hike and ruins exploration unforgettable—his passion for Inca history, personalized pacing for all fitness levels, and insider restaurant picks truly shine through in stories like yours. Jason will be over the moon reading this (and that epic shout-out to Sexy Llamas!). We can't wait to welcome you back for more Peru adventures—book your next luxury cultural tour today!

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco cost?
+
Prices start at $458 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Two Days Tour to Machupicchu from Cusco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
